Great location with tricky internal layout
This place is at a very central location, and it hosted our group of 8 adults and a baby, which was not a simple find in a bigger city. It's in a very old building (like all buildings in Florence) and when you go in you on the main door you might feel like this is the place where I'll loose my liver, but once the apartment opens it's really nice inside, which is a relief. It also has a kitchen with microwave to warm up your pasta if you couldn't finish it in the restaurant.
There are 3 bathrooms, which is awesome, but they don't have outside window - in fact, one of them has a window to the indoor staircase. The layout is also a bit tricky, because 1 big bed, and the sofa bed if opened is basically a transit location to other rooms, so people sleeping there won't have much privacy. We also wish they could've equipped it a bit better, like if there is a washing machine they could've put detergent for 1-2 wash, or some capsules for the coffee machine, wine opener, etc.

I would definitely stay there again.
We enjoyed this stay very much. We especially loved the set up. More than enough room for all 8 of us. There was someone there to greet us even after being delayed from the train ride. She was very polite and accommodating. Location was close to everything.
Only one suggestion, for the "bunk bed", I was a little concerned how there wasn't a railing for the top of the kids bunk so we ended up putting the mattress on the ground for my daughter. Other than that, everything was great.

TERRIBLE - GAS SMELL - MEAN HOST - DONT STAY HERE
We booked this apartment on short notice - about two hours before check-in at 2pm. We arrived to the apartment and met the concierge Oscar (very nice guy). While the place was lovely, when we went to the bathrooms, both of them had a VERY strong sewer smell - like gas. It was so bad that both bathrooms were unuseable (especially with no windows in either one). We asked if there were any other suites they could move us to and tried calling and texting the host for about 45 minutes with no response. As we waited the smell began to permeate the whole house after the bathroom doors were opened to the point that my wife and children went outside to the balcony. Finally we told Oscar that we had to leave and find other accommodations. (We had actually had the same problem the night before at a different booking and in spite of running water and leaving windows open, the smell did not go away.). My wife has also suffered from lung and heart problems and I have severe allergies at times AND we had are young children so we were very concerned about this. Oscar encouraged us to just leave our luggage, run water and they would call a handyman. My question was "what if the handyman cant fix it and now we are stuck breathing this or not able to use the bathrooms and showers?" He did not have an answer for this. Finally after 2:45 we (finally) received a rather snarky response from the host. I mentioned how we had the same problem the night before at a different booking and had woke up with a sore throat and allergies. She said "it is not possible for that to cause a sore throat" and "its an old building." Maybe shes a doctor and knows my body better than I do? They never offered anything besides telling us to run water and they will send a handyman. Maybe a hideous gas smell should be DISCLOSED as a health and safety issue. How is that healthy to breathe? Was she going to pay our hospital and doctor bills if it causes an issue?
