Brand New 1 Bdr Place du Pin

A nice, well located appartment with practical amenities- dishwasher, washing machine, kitchen appliances. Lots of restaurants nearby, as well as multiple shops and a bakery.

We booked the appartment for 2 weeks, it has not been cleaned at all during our stay. Towels&linen have not been changed either, but at least we could wash them (needed to buy detergent though). The key system is very annoying and the appartment, nice as it is, shows clear signs of usage-dirty walls etc. It is located in an old building, ready yourself for smells and cockroaches in the lobby (not in the appartment, fortunately!). The bed is small and not very comfortable.

The central location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach and public transport. The flat has everything you need for a comfortable stay. A supermarket is around the corner and there is a great variety of cafes and restaurants as well across the street.

Tidiness was below the standard with some stained bedding wanting thorough laundry or better replacement. The walls and kitchen cabinets have scratches and stains here and there. The pillows were a bit too hard to sleep on. The most significant drawback was the noise from the street at night from the garbage collection trucks. For some reason, they were working from 1.00am to 5.00am. It might be OK in winter but definitely not in summer when you sleep with your windows open.

The apartment is very comfortable and is in a perfect spot for travelling around nice by public transport. Furthermore, the tram from the airport stops just a short walk (10 minutes) from the address.

The plumbing! Especially the tap/faucet in the bathroom. Though we did get used to it after e few days.
