Luxury Spa Retreat with Ocean and Hinterland Views

Well located, clean and very comfortable. Owner very easy to deal with. Lived being do close up the town while having lovely views and the spa was so relaxing.

Very spacious apartment with distant views of the coast. Spa on balcony was great and had a really large shower. Board Games, ironing facilities and kitchen facilities provided. Apt is not managed by the onsite reception so they are unable to assist but a message to the owner was quickly actioned. Off street undercover parking available. Within walking distance to main street and restaurants. Situated on top floor (no lift) facing a busy road but traffic abated at night.

Fridge freezer was iced over so could not use it and the door was missing a rail so couldn't put anything in it, but the downstairs restaurant was able to provide ice. Kitchen area did not have it's own sink, so had to wash glasses in the bathroom. Wardrobe didn't have long hanging for dresses and no hooks on walls so had to hang over wardrobe doors. Coffee and tea provided, but no milk in fridge and no tissues either. Back bedroom shares a wall with the outside hallway so if neighbours in these 2 Apts are noisy when arriving and leaving you will be disturbed.These are all minor annoyances, but if you're going to charge $400 per night (min 2 nts) and advertise as luxury accommodation then it's the little thoughtful 'extras' that put you in this category.

I particularly liked the whole aesthetic and the location was just perfect. Finally the host could not have been any more helpful or accommodating. Thank you! I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Monteville.

Aircon turns off every three hours so kept waking up during the night because it was hot and stiffy every three hours and had to get up and reset. Wifi had no reception.
