External maintenance 1. The arbor was full of dead wood which fell over the table presenting a very untidy/unkept experience, 2. The bag of firewood deposited in the undercover garage prevents its use in storm season (lots of room in the shed for storage), 3. the concrete tank is leaking badly, 4. garden rubbish piled against the metal shed wall will rust the wall soon! I was blown away when I visited this Mater Prize home a couple of years ago but felt really sad about the lack of external maintenance and unused facilities.

The location, the open space for friends and family, the layout of the home

The lack of attention to detail. No fire wood, just big logs with no axe. No kindle as described in manual, garbage bin - missing the first day, empty diffusers and no barbecue tongs

The spaces, especially the lounge room and pool table.

Communication was good to begin with and the property was very spacious and majority of house was lovely. There was plenty of room and the main bedroom and kitchen were very spacious. The studio was a perfect addition.

This was meant to be the dream stay for my daughter's wedding, We were offered twice in the lead up to our stay to book an extra night as the property wasn't booked the night before, while we could not accept the offer, I did request early check in, but was denied as was told that the cleaners would need the full amount of time to clean so it was perfect for us. When we arrived, the house smelt very mouldy/damp, there was a puddle of water in the hallway beneath the aircon vent. The study was unusable due to the smell being very strong in there. The aircon didn't work for our entire stay of 4 nights in June, we communicated this to management straight away and was told they would get it fixed, this did not happen and was not communicated with us. Was told on night 1 when we informed them to use the fireplace and 2 little pedestal heaters to warmup a 4 bedroom two loungeroom house, then every time we turned on a heater the electricity would trip, and we would have to run out to garage to reset. Let the manager know this as well, no one sent out. Pool cues were mostly broken, and we had a couple of mice visit us. After our stay I communicated my disappointment with the management as I had chosen this accom and paid premium $$$ for something that didn't deliver. I was offered a 10% refund which I was happy with until I found out that 10% of $3500 was $294. The communication had been pleasant up until I questioned this amount, to which I received a turt and short reply and then communication was cut off. All of this caused unnecessary stress at a time that should have just been joy.
