Ananda Eco House - Eco Rainforest Retreat

You can tell a lot of care went into this property. Thank you for creating such a lovely space.

There was one bedroom that smelt a little bit funny (closest to the kitchen) , but everything else was great.

Loved the peaceful atmosphere here and how eco friendly everything was. The bedrooms were cosy and had everything we needed. There were dehumidifiers in the bathroom/toilet to keep those rooms free of condensation. Kitchen was very well stocked, they had the basics plus more. Having firewood available (at a small additional cost) meant we were able to keep the main section (kitchen and lounge) nice and cosy. We loved that we could take the whole family including the our little dog. Communication with the owners was exceptional and quick.

A couple of minors things that we let the owners know as they may not have been made aware of like the loose toilet seat, small hole in kitchen stain glass window and the foam gap sealer on the main door was well worn and letting in cold air.

Very nice and close to town centre

We wish there’s better way of locking the rooms, living room from inside apart from using the electronic pad locks as it is very inconvenient to go to the toilet which is outside in the middle of the night as we have unlock and lock them each time. Personally, the bed is too low for both of us as we’re tall. The mattress was also soft for us as we prefer hard mattress, but this is just a personal choice. We still managed to sleep. I can understand that this an eco house, but I’m just not a fan of drop toilet. Haha..
