Everything was beautiful about this property. We love the location and the views of the mountains. The staff was pleasant. The rooms were nice. The beds were comfortable. The food on the rooftop was great as was the restaurant on the main level. Oh, and I can’t forget the cocktails. Our 10 year-old daughter also loved the property, food and her fancy mocktails. It was a little chilly outside and one of the weight staff brought her a blanket, as well as lit the fire pit on the rooftop. Later that evening they had live music that was perfect for the scene. We were told that after 9 PM it becomes adults only which I think is great.

The only thing that I truly did not like about this property was we could hear loud music from our room on the 14th floor that apparently there’s some club that is across the street. The music did not stop until 2 in the morning, although we heard from one guest that the club is supposed to do a silent party after 11 PM but apparently they decided to not go silent that night. I didn’t necessarily not like that there was a marathon the next morning but we were awakened by them testing the microphone at 6:30 AM. I just wish that we had been made aware of the events that we’re going on so that could help us make a decision if we wanted to stay there or not. I mean, trying to go to sleep at 2 AM because of loud music and then being waking up at 6:30AM wasn’t great.

Beautiful hotel with great history.

This felt like a really upscale hotel which surprised me. Valet parking was nice and they made my little dog feel comfortable.

The construction outside wasn’t great, but that’s temporary. The front desk also had ear plugs.

Cozy, sophisticated, very pretty and high class

Roof top always close even to guest. I wanted to show my friends why I love the Plaza, it is because of the roof deck hang out. This is the second time I check in where in roof top is not accessible. I would probably lay low on choosing this hotel for a while and do the other one for special occasion

Incredible, highly recommend this place.

Everything about this hotel was high class and elegant. From the moment you walk in you feel pampered. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, and I felt like I was their priority. Rooms were spacious, clean and well done. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. I felt like a queen sleeping on the comfy beds. It was a great stay and I'd definitely go back.

The hotel was incredible. The only down side was the place next door was doing night construction on the day I was there and the sound from it was audible. However, it was a temporary issue, and the hotel quickly discounted my stay to make up for it AND refunded my valet parking fee. To me, that made up for the very minor inconvenience.

The Plaza Hotel , our favorite staycation spot.

It was a fantastic little getaway (staycation). The minute you enter the hotel , you are greeted by wonderful staff who are super friendly . Once checked in we were taken to our room , that was on the 16th floor and was perfect. Clean , wonderful towels and laundry and a perfectly stocked snack and drink bar. There was also a fully stocked fridge and in that fridge there was a good space for my insulin to be kept cold ( type #1 diabetic ).which was a great extra bonus

There really wasn't anything we didn't like , everyone was super friendly . We had asked for clean towels to be brought to our room on the second day. They were indeed brought to the room , however the housekeeping person didn't restock any fridge items, snack items, but they did leave some trash items and some used gloves on my Husband's night stand - they also had the audacity to leave us a tip envelope - we thought that was a little rude .

Luxury for sure but they still need to work on honoring basic client needs

The comfort and luxury aspect of the hotel were amazing. The location of the hotel was also great. I used their gym and it was very well equipped.

I had people knocking on my door asking if I wanted evening spa services and I sincerely thought that was invasive. I didn't expect a door to door sales scene at a high end hotel. The time for my morning meal was not honored and they brought it at like 7:00 am when I was trying to sleep in. I requested wash cloths via email when calling the front desk didn't work and I never got the wash cloths or a reply.

A place to get away from day to day life.

It was beautiful, relaxing, and the hotel emailed. Me before my stay. To see if I wanted to personalize my stay. It was my husband's birthday. And they asked if I wanted to get a bottle and some sweets. I said yes and they gave me a happy Birthday cupcake and a Coke for free. And the other thing I upgraded was waiting for us in the room. Everything was beautiful.

The only thing was that the air was turned off or night or something cause I was hot. I had the thermostat at 66. Idk if it was me or the room. But it was hot at night but just uncovered myself and it was ok.

There was a sewer problem: the hall to our room smelled and the workout room in the basement was really bad. We were there for one night and I’m glad — my wife found the smell pretty severe. We noted this and received free breakfast (which was outstanding); they would have done better to give us a free room for a future stay, I do not believe we will stay there again.

What a lovely hotel!

Gorgeous place. Great decor. Our room was beautifully decorated and had great lighting. The bed was really comfortable. Aircon was effective - and quiet! Breakfast (extra charge) was elegant and delicious, and a better value than I expected. We both just felt like it was a treat to be there.

Great hotel in downtown El Paso

Pretty rooms, beautiful bar, very friendly and helpful staff, great location, comfy beds and pillows.

The room wasn't totally clean. Dirty linens from the previous guest were in a pile on the table, and there were some stains on towels. There was a nightlight in the bathroom that we couldn't figure out how to turn off, and it shined on the bed. We had to close the heavy, hard-to-slide bathroom door (barn door), which made nighttime bathroom use hard and disruptive. Also, the door offered little privacy for the bathroom, so if you aren't very close to your partner, that might be a negative.

Disappointing

There’s a club next door. I was on a higher floor but it was so loud I thought the people in the room next to me were having a drug techno party. After long travel day you could literally hear and feel the walls shaking and ear plugs did not help. I looked out the window and saw a club right next door. With the prices it’s in bad taste to not invest in double paned windows at least. I can only imagine how bad it is on lower levels.
