Great pet-friendly stopover hotel close to motorway

Very convenient per-friendly stopover hotel for driving through Switzerland. Close to motorway and a reasonably priced Coop petrol station. Underground parking, very easy e-checking system. Ground floor apartment useful for letting dog out although be careful as patio area not enclosed. Really comfortable beds, apartment well-equipped with cutlery etc. Would definitely return and can highly recommend.

It was ver nice accomodartion

I would rather have someone meet me to check in. Plus asking for a late check out was not possible and I felt that they wanted to charge me way too much money for a late check out. I only wanted two more hours and they wanted 100CHF... so I didnt do it.

Bed was really comfy and the shower was excellent.

The staff in the cafe were exceptionally rude and borderline abusive. Certainly do not recommend stopping here if you are looking for a pleasant experience.

Quiet place with self check in with some things to be improved

Self check-in is very comfortable and easy. The Hotel in general is clean and quiet place to stay during road trips for one night. Having free parking that is easy to find is also great.

We stayed one night only but in the morning staff entered room to do cleaning while we were inside before check-out time. Quite strange and disturbing. Also the room is described as a room with kitchen and kitchen appliances. but when you arrive, you find kitchen casework with appliances locked with a bicycle lock and a paper on it, explaining that it is possible to use appliances only if you stay for more than 4 weeks.

Booked for 4 people and sofabed was not made and there were no sheets and there is no reception or anyone to talk to

Big and clean rooms, easy check in.

We found very very petty that the cutlery was locked down in the kitchen, therefore we could not use the kitchen. We dont see the point of an apartment with a kitchen without cutlery, why is it so painful to let us use a few plates and knifes and forks????? We were very very disappointed because of this. Otherwise everything was perfect, but this ruined our stay.

Nice stay in a comfortable self catering apartment

We booked a superior apartment in this aparthotel, which was clean, comfortable and spacious with an outside area. Check in was via an automated machine and we didn't see anyone until the cleaners the next morning. Parking was in a restricted height underground car park which we didn't attempt, but there were spaces outside the on-site bistro which were available and we used it wasn't open. We walked the short distance to Bäckerei Hodel for breakfast and enjoyed a lovely coffee and gipfeli.

We visited at the beginning of August, with the on site restaurant (and other restaurants in the town) closed for holidays which meant limited options for eating. We had nice take away pizzas from the restaurant at the station (where you can also eat in) and had them on our terrace. It's quite pricey for what it is, but that's more a result of the cost in Switzerland and actually is one of the cheaper options around. No availability of the kitchen facilities for a 1 night stay - these are locked with a padlock.

Plenty of parking. The self check-in process was very easy. It took us only 5 mins to have our room cards ready.

The adjacent to the location Bistro was closed for 2 days. I assume this is they way in Switzerland but was not convenient at all. The kitchen drawers at the room were locked and we had to ask the service for someone to come in and unlock them. The response was very fast, though.

Beautiful Apartments value for money

Their bed was really comfortable and the place was clean. I arrived late after missing my train in Zurich so I over slept and when the staff members came they were so friendly and helped with everything I needed as well as offered me coffee.

I booked two apartments but I don't know what happened with booking.com I was only offered one apartment. But that was not the apartments problem.

easy to find place but not easy to get entry and code access .They have private parking and lift and good breakfast at refrigerator and coffee machine front of our room ,The bread is good taste and quality.

They have kitchen but they locked the cabinet!! open only customer 7 days booking! and this Apartment very far from city so make sure you already eat before coming here. Beware The smell around not good may be cow dung manure .

I would definitely stay again.

Self check in was easy and simple, great staff too, maybe could do with getting an iron and ironing board within the hotel as there was not one to receive from the reception, apart from that great location and lovely views.
