The elevator (Lift)was out of service: Throughout my stay at the hotel, and while I was on the sixth floor, the elevator (Lift)was out of order. I learned that it had been broken for over a month, and some guests told me that the elevator - lift malfunction was incredibly tiring and exhausting for us, especially those staying on the upper floors, due to the daily commute and the difficulty of carrying our luggage. And when I ask the reception they told me that they will fix it !! How come an elevator- Lift still out of services mor than 3 weeks,normally the hotel fix it during one or two hours immediately.

Great cheap hotel - would recommend.

Great value The breakfast was fine too. For the price everything was great value. Good location - i walked from the hotel but It’s well served by the metro too.

The only bad thing was that the lift was broken so 7 floors of stairs was quite gruelling even though someone helped me up with my case.

Nice economic stay near the metro

Located very close to metro & bus stop, so moving around was easy. Few bakeries, departmental stores are close by. The room is equipped with induction stove, microwave oven, kettle & utensils, so you can heat up your food or cook a bit if you like. The breakfast was good. People were helpful.

We had an issue entering the hotel first time. It does not have an open reception or staff at the entrance. So we had to explore how to enter... after few permutations and combinations we found a keypad in the side in which we had to enter a code. After that, someone opened it for us. So when checking in, please confirm you have the code, especially if you are arriving late night. We had stayed for 3 nights and they replaced the towels and did housekeeping only once. Since we came back too late, we just crashed to bed.

It's cheap. Just basic. Place to sleep and shower. But it is passable. Good with the price paid.

Worth stay out of city center

It’s all you need for short stay; fits well a couple or a single person that needs some privacy from city center. Clean and staffs very friendly. Good breakfast too.

The bed size it’s a bit small, for those tall people (my case 188cm) I’ve had my feet out of the bed, felt the wood material of it and it’s quite uncomfortable.

My experience at Moov Apart Hotel in Paris

The hotel is not far from the city centre, easily reachable with the metro, as the nearest station is 5 minutes walking and 25 minutes from Gare-du-Nord, and the metro line runs through many of the city’s most touristic places. I don’t complain about the cleanliness and the day we arrived, the person in reception was very helpful.

The bed was like sleeping on a table, the mattress was super hard and uncomfortable. On Sunday morning for the breakfast, there was not plates in the dinning and apparently only one person was in the kitchen and the place was really busy, everything run out and there were not seats available. The day we checked out, there was nobody in the reception. We waited for 15 minutes and nobody showed up.

I liked the room per se, it has a kitchenette, which was really good. The room size was perfect and how the outside doors are locked is wonderful.

The problem was the WiFi. I never got to connect to WiFi and when I told the front desk agent to help me, he said he would go to my room, but never got there. When it comes to the amenities not so great. I just had one little bag of shampoo and one little soap. I stayed there for 2 nights, they are supposed to supply enough for the whole stay.

Basic, it can definitely improve

Liked: location, friendly staff, cleanliness of room, rooms like the pictures, good size of rooms, very nice view from room (a small park), room was quiet, room has a small kitchen so you can prepare your own meals and save money.

Disliked: staff not experienced enough, though friendly (e.g. were reluctant to book a taxi for me from the previous day, next day they couldn't find one, didn't let me have breakfast first day because "I hadn't paid for it", changed their mind next day and let me prepay the breakfast). 50€ deposit, that have still not received 10 days later (will I get it back? Who knows..) Reception frequently closed, you have to phone them. Room was not room-serviced throughout the whole 4 days I stayed. (3 nights I understand, but 4??) Asked for an extra duvet and toilet paper (by 3rd day I had ran out of it), never got anything. Breakfast was very basic, some eggs would upgrade it (found eggs only on one day, two other days breakfast included pastries, breads, yogurt and fruit) Generally, it feels like you're left to your own devices in this hotel. If service can be improved it will greatly enhance the visitor's experience. As a solo traveler, I don't want the extra stress....

- the water was cold (they told us it was an issue of the city, but they didn't warn us, refund is, or even search for a solution in 2 days) - dirty, yellow stains on the toilet, footprints on the wall, dust on the tea set, a mug with still some remainings of previuos users' tea - almost no toilet paper - almost no bathsoap/shampoo - no hand soap - just 3 towels at all (in a room for 2 people) - no hair dryer (need to ask for one at the reception, but you can have it just for 24 hours, then give it back) - no breakfast service during weekend - no written instruction about anything - the reception didn't wait for us to check-in even if they know we were arriving at midnight (we had to call the "emergency" number of the hotel) - receptionists are cold and not well prepared

Disappointing

The overall experience for night stay was okay. But could have been better if the reception would have not waited me for more than hour despite reserving the hotel in advance through booking.com

The hotel should provide the refund of the security deposit though direct reverse of transaction done at time of paying using the same mode right after checking out the hotel.
