This is a unique and amazing place in a small, historical and very friendly small town. We were met by Salvina, who was welcoming, friendly and helpful. She explained the parking, which was free and available, once you understand how it works. We found friendly people and had a great meal at Bar San Antonio, and found a closeby spot where we could buy milk and yogurt. We only missed the Bar in Piazza Duomo as it was closed on Monday.
Pollina is a small historic village high up above Cefalu. . . and includes plenty of stairs and some steep climbing, so it may not be for everyone. We enjoyed it, but be sure to communicate with your host about how to arrive in this town, especially if you have a car.
A MAP of this little town would be VERY helpful to have when guests arrive.

This is a dream house! It is tucked away in the hill town of Pollina, and has a magnificent view from the 4th floor balcony. The staff was amazing and extremely attentive to our every need. The home is ultra modern in an ancient place. I hope we can stay again.

Very nicely renovated house with 4 floors in the centre of a lovely hilltop village.
Amazing views from the balcony, and a nice little shaded courtyard at the bottom.
Surprisingly, the village is quite lively, with snack bars at the top near the tower, a bakery, several cafes and little souvenir shops, a pizzeria, the museo della grappa, and the Greek-style open air theatre.
It's within striking distance of Cefalù and is in the Madonie national park, which is good for hiking.
Best advice is not to try and park near the house. The roads are narrow and steep. There is a small car park at the bottom of the hill, but we found parking pretty easily on Viale Kennedy, just drive all the way to the top of the road, turn around at the top and park in the first space you find on the way down. If you have passengers and luggage you can drop them at the top while you go in search of your space.
