Heerlijke rustige plek zonder blaffende honden en kraaiende hanen. Het zwembad is prima en de gastheer is zo’n fijne kerel. Helpt je waar nodig.

Everything! It was very quiet and chilled- just what we needed. We were able to rent a scooter from the host which made everything easier. I would definitely stay here again!

Ruhige Lage, gute Ausstattung, freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, Notstrom auch per Stromausfall was auf den Insel schon mal vorkommt. Guter Host der hilfsbereit alles für einen organisiert, wie ein Roller. Wenn man fragt bekommt man alles oder wird für einen organisiert. Wenn ich wieder nach Siargao komme, dann sehr gerne wieder hier.

Der Weg von der Straße zur Unterkunft ist ein unbefestigter 100 Meter langer Weg und mit Koffer nicht befahren, der muss getragen werden. Empfehlung der in privater Van / Shuttle vom Flughafen. Das Shuttle kostet etwas mehr bringt einen aber direkt vor die Tür und erspart es den Koffer über den Weg zu tragen. Bei Abreise organisierte uns der Host das private Shuttle, hat super funktioniert und ist viel angenehmer als die geteilten Shuttles die am Flughafen warten und viel zu eng und vollgestopft werden.

Booked the apartment on the upper floor which is generally very nice and modern. The location is very relaxing. Well equipped kitchen and 10min ride away from General Luna. Friendly staff + booking of scooter possible - however a bit more expensive than average.

The reason we chose this Villa was the new pool to beat the Philippines heat. However, the first day it was cleaned and not ready to use while the other days it was so dirty from frogs and flies entering during the day and night - at the end tadpoles were swimming in it making it impossible to enter the pool. We asked for cleaning which was done immediately - however without success. Other guests were also avoiding entering the pool. (see pictures) As there are many power outages in Siargao - which we are already used to, energy often needs to ramp up again during the night. This wasn’t a problem at all at other resorts in Siargao, but here it was connected to constant beeps which kept us awake two nights in a row not able to turn if off. The owner is aware of this issue and wants to solve it. Both of these above issues made it impossible to really relax here - leading to a decreased rating on Booking. Otherwise it would habe been a very good rating. As a heads-up for people afraid of insects: there are a lot of caterpillars in the apartment which was not a problem for us but had to clean it out daily.
