I really enjoyed my stay at Philstay. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, especially Jooney. I arrived feeling very tired after my journey, and he noticed it right away. He kindly allowed me to take a shower and assigned me to a quiet 6-bed dorm, which I greatly appreciated. I absolutely loved the location. I slept very well and was able to rest properly on my first night. The rooms were cleaned regularly, and the staff would leave the doors open during cleaning to air out the rooms, which helped keep the space feeling fresh and comfortable.

As for what I liked less, I think the breakfast could be improved a little. Even something as simple as providing butter for the bread would make a difference! 😉 Just a small suggestion. Also, if you're hoping to meet lots of fellow travelers and socialize, this hostel may not really have that kind of atmosphere. Finally, the number of shower facilities on the first floor felt a bit limited for the number of women staying there, which could sometimes be inconvenient. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would like to thank the staff for their kindness and hospitality.

The mattresses are a little hard but I found this consistent in many hostels I stayed also. They need curtains for privacy not the roller blind. Very noisy when people constantly drawing them open or closed

Rooms were very secure and comfortable and had good storage space. The location is super convenient and easily accessible to center Seoul. The beds were spacious and had sufficient privacy curtains that blocked out all the light from roommates.

The bathrooms were quite small and cramped, which made it difficult for more than 3 people to use the bathroom at one time. They were also super messy and gross (probably no fault of the staff - just the people staying there didn't clean up after themselves). The kitchen/check in area is also very tiny, and there simply isn't enough space for that many people to be boarding at once. I was glad to only be there for 2 nights.
