Very handy for the beach, easy flat walk into the village, good parking, a bonus in Aberdyfi.
Comfortable bed and use of adjoining hut for kitchen and living are.
Lovely garden with lots of seating
The welcome pack could have contained Welsh products that promote the area instead of lots and lots of biscuits choclates etc.

This was my first week volunteering on the nearby Talyllyn Railway and the Shepherd's Hut was the perfect place to stay, offering peace, solitude, comfort and an excellent rest, yet only 5 minutes drive each morning from the railway. The Hut has a large annexe so it has plenty of space, with an enormous bed in the Hut itself, along with a small kitchenette, bathroom with good-sized shower and a log burner. The annexe has a larger kitchen which is well-stocked with a range of cooking equipment, a large lounge area, and another log burning stove. I used the kitchenette in the Hut for my breakfasts before heading off to volunteer, and then used the annexe for cooking and relaxing in the evening.

The extra space and the wood burners. Great location for walking to the beach and surrounding countryside walks. Peaceful location even though close to the main road. One of the best "Welcome Packs" you will ever receive. The bed was really comfy and the towels were nice and fluffy.
Could do with more hooks and drawers (under the bed) that work for storing clothes.
