Rosie Cottage

The Cottage was extremely comfortable and immaculate when We arrived. It made a great place to stay for Our Holiday and very central for Our days out. The Village where itis situated is very friendly and has all the shops needed along with a choice of Pubs serving drinks and quality food at very reasonable prices. The Cottage is well-equipped and having all the bedding and towels supplied included is a game-changer in Holiday let's.

We had to gain access to the Cottage via a Key left in a code operated key safe, this was fine, However, the key and/or lock need some attention as it took several attempts to open the door. This didn't get any easier throughout Our stay. May only require some spray oil.

The cottage it's self is absolutely adorable, it's a real home from home, location is amazing what can I say it's absolutely beautiful 😍

The only gripe we had, was there was black hairs everywhere, I hoovered the living room area when we arrived under the sofas was bad, couldn't use washing machine as it was full of black hairs, also a huge cobweb in bedroom, so I would check what your cleaners are actually doing, but the cottage is amazing 👏

We loved the location, 5 minutes around the corner from the pub and the high street. The decor was nice, bed comfortable and water pressure excellent. Also plenty of hot water, nice touches with plenty of lighting options and candles. The seperate dining room is a bonus and the rooms are very good proportions for a cottage. We appreciated the good WiFi and netflix on the TV. Oh and the massive tub!

We didn't like the lounge furniture, it's very tired and doggy. Our old dog also struggled a bit with the steps in the back yard, they were very steep up to the seating area, although the outside space in a seaside cottage is welcomed. Our only real complaint is the dishwasher, we opened it on the first night to discover an inch of stinking, dirty water in the bottom so we swiftly closed it. There's obviously a drainage issue and we didn't want to risk putting it on.

Property dated. Staircase used with care. Lounge furniture not very comfortable. Soft furnishings/curtains very old looking.
