About this cottage rental

HARLEQUIN COTTAGE is your luxury retreat and is set amongst acres of peaceful , wildflower meadows with private access to the stunning sandy beach. The resort facilities are endless, offering indoor swimming pools, fully equipped gym, spa, tennis courts, archery, fishing, mini football, water sports etc. There is even a golf course just 5 minutes drive away.

The holiday village has a welcoming family and dog friendly pub which serves delicious meals. There is a Pharmacy and a small convenience store.

Furnished and decorated to a high standard 'Harlequin' offers comfortable accommodation with a spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/ diner with Smart TV / DVD / Netflix, downstairs cloakroom, and understairs cupboard. It has 1 double bedroom with walk-in wardrobe and 1 twin bedroom - both with TV. There is free unlimited Superfast Broadband in the cottage.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need including washer/dryerdishwasher, microwave.

French doors open on to your private patio which is equipped with a brick built bbq, and a table and 4 chairs where you can relax while the children safely play.

Travel cot and high chair provided for your little one and bowls etc for your dog.

Dogs are welcome and free!

This cottage is very cosy, it is very close to the tennis courts, pool and beach. The beds were comfortable, the shower was powerful, the kitchen was well equipped and the living room had some nice touches with books, Xbox, board games and toys.

Lovely property with lots of homely touches. Spotlessly clean, really comfy beds, and seems like they'd thought of everything in terms of what you might need for a self catering stay. Sharon the owner was a pleasure to deal with. We'd very happily stay here again.

We've just returned from a short break over New Year at Harlequin. The owner has really thought of everything and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely home. It's in a perfect location on The Bay and ideal for exploring further afield too. Sharon, the owner, was incredibly responsive from our initial enquiry and was both very friendly and professional. A great Host and Home and we can't wait to revisit! Thank you.

We had a lovely midweek break in this very well equipped holiday home which although we thought it might be quite small but was perfect for myself, two teenagers and our dog. Really nicely furnished and lots of thoughtful touches to enhance our stay. Would recommend and we will very likely visit again.

It’s was so amazing, easy access to property on arrival , a beautiful clean and fresh home full of little surprises especially for the dogs! Easy access to the beach and great to be able to park near the house with outdoor space .. table and chairs with bbq .. shame the weather kept us inside 😞 I highly recommend this lovely cottage and will hopefully return .

An ideal cottage for 2adults and 2 children situated within a few minutes walk to a beautiful sandy bay.The accommodation wanted for nothing with lots of quality games for the children.We had amazing weather whist we were there and the outside space was ideal for boules and cricket in the evening.The towels and bed linen were lovely quality and beds very comfortable.Sharon has thought of everything and even left a lovely gift of wine and cookies for our arrival.Would certainly recommend.

We visited week commencing 13 May 2019. The accommodation was fantastic even more surprised at the high standard as it is dog friendly. We normally have to settle for sub standard accommodation because we have a dog. Everything was there that you needed to make your stay enjoyable. The Bay was a great central location to visit, Whitby, Scarborough and Bridlington. I can't comment on the facilities as we didn't use them. The grounds were immaculate. I would highly recommend. We stayed three nights and enjoyed everything about it.All the basic provisions are there for you i.e tea bags coffee etc. Sharon even provides things for the dogs if you require them. We will be going in February next year. The short walk to the beach is well worth it as the bay is beautiful.

I had a lovely stay in Harlequin Cottage, in fact I wish I'd booked for longer! It's a 10 minute walk through the resort to the beautiful beach and the pub, bistro and pharmacy are all close by. The cottage is clean and beautifully furnished in a beachy style and is light and bright by day and cosy by night. The owner, Sharon, was lovely to deal with and provided almost everything I could need. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment, utensils and crockery etc. and there were plenty of towels, pillows, blankets etc. Parking is no problem and the streets are well lit at night. I definitely plan to return and highly recommend.

Beautifully decorated and very very clean with everything catered for ( including extra long dog leads and dishwasher tablets !!) The perfect place for a family to relax in. Also the owners were very helpful when I realised I had left something behind and responded very quickly to sort it out.

We were so impressed by the cottage and The Bay. It was absolutely perfect for a get away to celebrate a birthday. The house had everything that we needed to ensure we made the most out of our stay and we loved the personal touches such as the bottle of milk and biscuits which was perfect after a long drive. Comfy beds and plenty of towels. It was excellent having Netflix so we didn’t run out of entertainment and had plenty to watch. We used the onsite leisure centre and walked to the beach. The pub was great too. Real home away from home and we would love to return
