Excellent cottage, very comfortable, home from home feeling. Very well equipped, lovely downstairs shower. Great to have the large accessible driveway. Easy walk to local pub and plenty of dog walking areas. Summer house is a lovely addition, unfortunately a little cold for us in February!
Nothing - everything was perfect.

A lovely, comfortable well-equipped cottage in a good location for exploring the area

Everything was lovely , it’s been a fantastic stay thanks very much there was everything I needed to be able to cook a Christmas dinner and the hamper was a lovely surprise , the Christmas tree was a added bonus too
Only 1 small niggle the kettle in the kitchen was very badly furred up and had lost its filter , we didn’t use it and instead boiled up a pan of water to make hot drinks , didn’t effect our great stay just thought I’d mention it for future guests , ironically when we were leaving and checking all the cupboards we saw there was another kettle in the utility room ! Thanks again for a wonderful stay would definitely recommend

Quiet location in a village with some facilities and a Pub with good food.
Nothing at all. The cottage was extremely well equipped, comfortable and a real ‘home from home’. A lovely welcome hamper and all home comforts. We would certainly stay there again.

Lovely cottage for 3 nights away with the dogs. Everything there that you need and an easy drive to Sandringham, Holkham Beach and Wells next the Sea. Crown pub is a short walk away which allows dogs indoors. We ate there 2 evenings which was nice food
Not the properties fault but very poor phone signal although WiFi is good

Beautiful cottage which was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Lovely garden for the dog as it was secure. The summerhouse was an added gem. We enjoyed relaxing listening to some old vinyl records!
Easy distance to beaches and tourist attractions.
I would definitely book again.

Our stay at flint cottage was unbelievable! It was a stay for a wedding but the house was so cozy and lovely that it made the stay even more enjoyable! We had a lovely welcome package from the owner and we were so pleasantly surprised at how pet friendly the house is! The enclosed garden made it so much easier with my dog! I can't speak high enough praises and would absolutely consider staying there again!

Flint Cottage had a really nice feel to it, was quiet, spotless and very well equipped + with a pleasant small private garden with 2 seating areas . Thank you, host Jenny, for sending clear directions and advance 'warning 'about the window cleaner!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and especially appreciated FMP's many paintings and the intriguing collection of books and DVDs!.
We liked it all.
A grab handle and/or non slip bath mat could be useful for elderly guests when showering.

Location was excellent as a base to explore north norfolk. Plenty of places to visit - national trust and private estates as well as nature reserves and gardens. Host answered our queries promptly.
Mobile phone signal was poor.

Comfortable, great summerhouse, driveway for the car. Had everything we would have wanted.
Could do with a clock downstairs and a towel rail in the downstairs toilet.

Location for exploring Norfolk was great, central to most of our excursions.
To be honest, it needs a really good deep clean throughout. Bathrooms in particular, grubby sinks behind taps, toilets behind and under hinges of the seats just yuk! Grubby skirtings and base shelf over pipe box in downstairs toilet too. Bedding wasn’t ironed certainly in front room and I wasn’t actually sure that it had been changed. Beds were comfy though. The toaster was disgusting so we went to Sainsbury’s and bought a cheap toaster and kettle. Coffee table and block table in kitchen together with the outside of the fridge we’re grubby and dirty. We didn’t cook there at all. It looks like the bare minimum is done after every changeover. I did Air bnb in a large two bed flat for 2 years and my husband and I together did a 4 hour clean after each and every guest every single time. Maybe my expectations are just too high.

Very clear instructions and very easy to find property. Good to be able to park on drive. Very good location for north west Norfolk. Quiet location on small modern housing estate. Really enjoyed the summer house and relaxing downstairs. Well equipped with everything we needed and more. Comfortable sofas and nice to have dining table area for meals and card games. Nice enclosed garden, safe for my dog. Surprisingly spacious for 2 bedroomed cottage. Crown was good value, very good service and friendly local pub.
The bed in the blue bedroom. Needs a new mattress rather than layers of mattress topper, synthetic sheepskin (?), blanket and additional sheet. Our only grumble:we would definitely return otherwise.

The property was relatively newly built, clean and well furnished. It had convenient parking and was in a quiet rural location (although there are big dogs living next door we found they were reasonably quiet). A lovely garden and additional garden room was a nice added extra (especially the fairy lights that turn on at night). The welcome hamper was a bonus. We felt the house was good value for money. It had additional games to play with etc to keep kids (and adults) entertained if needed.
A little more information about how to work the full tv channels and also about the local amenities would have been nice as we were new to the area and were not sure where the nearest shop was or where we could get food. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and this was a plus point on the whole but sadly the crisps in it had past their best before date so perhaps a slight maintenance/oversight issue. Also the dishwasher tablets had just run out as there was an empty box under the sink (again just a tiny oversight). I would have really liked some microwaveable mugs (but maybe that’s just me? very handy for warming up milk/hot choc).

The cottage (new build) was excellent and as a previous visitor stated "a home from home". Every amenity one would want is there...books, DVDs, full crockery etc. A welcome hamper was nice. There is a summer house in the garden which was a surprise...this has to be a first! A great addition that dovetails well with the UK climate. This is probably one of the best cottages we have stayed in and comes highly recommended. We shall return in 2024.
Nothing with the exception of new technology. The house is well insulated and uses a heat pump. As slightly elder clients, we prefer a bath to a shower. The shower is excellent but the bath water temperature is not quite hot enough...easily fixed by a immersion heater.

Beautiful living space with excellent amenities and equipment. Wonderfully warm with the under floor heating. The summerhouse made a fantastic escape for the teens, with a comfy sofa and TV. Utility room was very useful and the kitchen well equipped.
Thank you so much to our hosts for putting up a Christmas tree and the welcome hamper 😁
Beds are very soft, felt I was being folded in half. Was glad to find some hypoallergenic pillows to swap out the feather ones. The property looks to have pets visiting sometimes (just FYI for anyone with allergies)

Flint Cottage is the perfect home from home (which is important to me when my work takes me away from my actual home!)
Very well provisioned and equipped, cosy, quiet, private, comfortable and the wood burner was the deal maker (I have one at home and love it!) Communication with the lovely Jenny was superb and the welcome hamper really appreciated. Thank you for making my stay at Flint Cottage so special.

The cottage was very characterful and felt like a home from home. Everything was clean and our two children and dog couldn’t have been happier. A great cottage in a great location. We’re already planning to book again.

Beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished. A large open plan living/ dining / kitchen area with quality laminate flooring. Separate utility room with washing machine, cat furniture and dog bed. Looking forward to visiting in winter and using the lovely log burner. Some of the Beautiful objects of interest around the house (a model ship, an old camera) might need moving out of reach if v young children are staying.
Well equipped kitchen with plenty of pans and crockery. Upstairs the two bedrooms were reasonably sized with drawers and hanging space. One firm mattress and one soft. The beds had both down and hollow fibre pillows on them, but I found additional hollow fibre ones in the cupboard to swap out.
Quiet cul-de-sac with easy access to main roads. Lovely deli/butchers in the village and Norfolk Woods Spa down the road. Garden has a summer house (my granddaughters loved it) a comfy seating area and a table and chairs with parasol.
Very responsive owners who answered questions quickly and provided excellent instructions.
The place is obviously thoroughly cleaned between guests and is advertised as pet-friendly (i just didn't consider that meant cats as well as dogs). There were still some cat hairs around so if you're very allergic you may need some antihistamines just in case. The owners are very helpful so there might be something more they can do if told in advance.

The summerhouse and enclosed garden for safety of the dogs
On way back home, my wife realised that she had left some medication in the fridge, accidentally. When she texted Jenny the following day, she was told that they had been binned. This caused upset to my wife and an inconvenience and cost as to her obtaining some more.
However, Jenny has since offered to discount something off a future stay, if we decided to return, which we may do in the future.

Location was great, easy to get to the coast. Cottage was well equipped, cosy and comfortable. We loved the artwork, it gave the cottage a welcoming home from home vibe. The summerhouse was delightful.
Having to go home.
