Ground floor: exposed stone lounge room with fireplace opening onto a south-facing veranda. Equipped kitchen (oven, dishwasher and washing machine).
1 bedroom (1 bed 2 people 160 cm), shower room and WC.

Large attic bedroom upstairs (2 single beds 90cm). Outdoor terrace with barbecue, garden furniture and deckchairs in a pretty garden.

The gite "le verger" is ideally placed to discover the landing beaches (Omaha Beach, Longues Sur Mer, Arromanches Les Bains).
The pretty medieval town of Bayeux and its famous "Bayeux Tapestry", as well as the small fishing port of Port En Bessin and its fish market are a few kilometers away.

Between sea and countryside, you have a choice of activities (nautical activities, hikes, cultural visits ...), without forgetting the local products (cider, pommeau, cheeses ...) offered in the surroundings.

The holiday home is simply fantastic. We had a great time there with our children. The location between meadows with apple trees is beautiful. It's not far to the beach. There is also a lot to see in the area, especially for those interested in history. For the children there was a climbing park and an amusement park less than 1 hour's drive away.

We based ourselves in this wonderful old stone house and took day trips to Mont St. Michel, Etretat, Denan, as well as, of course, the D-day sights. It was always a joy to come back to this house after exploring beautiful Normandy.

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen in dit geweldige huis met alle comfort. We hebben bij hitte genoten van het de koelte in huis en de schaduw in de boomgaard. En als het koeler werd zit je in de heerlijke veranda alsof je buiten zit. De omgeving met het mooie strand, de steden Carentan, Bayeux en St. Lo. En niet te vergeten de zondagsmarkt in Port-en-Bessin-Huppain. Pointe du Hoc en het Amerikaans kerkhof waren zeer indrukwekkend. Bedankt Alexandra !

Sur des lieux chargés d'histoire à quelques pas de la plage d'Omaha Beach, on découvre que ce gîte avait été occupé par des soldats américains. Outre son "âme", le gîte est très, très agréable avec tout le nécessaire pour vous faire passer un "super" et agréable séjour. Merci à Madame Lemaire.

La maison est vraiment top ! Très bien équipée, propre, agréable, bien placée ! Vraiment aucun reproche. Le jardin est génial. Et la véranda c'est vraiment le bonus pour prendre tous les repas "presque" dehors quand les matinées ou soirées normandes sont un peu fraîches. Une semaine de vacances parfaite !

Nous avons passé une semaine de vacances de la Toussaint merveilleuse dans ce gîte, confortable et chaleureux, parfaitement équipé, avec un immense terrain pour les enfants. La véranda et la terrasse permettent de profiter au maximum du jardin. Parfaitement situé pour rayonner dans la région. Nous recommandons sans réserve!

Das Haus ist wunderbar ruhig gelegen, mit riesigem Garten, perfekt zum Toben für Kinder. Wir haben den Wintergarten sehr genossen, er ist ideal, wenn das Wetter mal nicht so gut ist oder wenn es abends kühl wird. Man sitzt dort herrlich, fast wie im Freien. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Strand Omaha Beach ist herrlich, mit dem Auto nur 5 Minuten entfernt. Wer die Normandie erkunden will, ist hier mitten drin. Wir haben zwei tolle Wochen verbracht und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in dem hübschen Steinhaus in Colleville sur Mer. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns der Wintergarten, in dem wir abends auch bei niedrigeren Temperaturen unter freiem Himmel sitzen konnten. Unser Sohn hat sich sehr gefreut, dass auf dem weitläufigen Gelände eine Schaukel stand. Sehr empfehlenswert.
