About this house rental
Imagine being 4 levels up, nestled in Costa Rica’s spectacular, pristine canopy. Welcome to Jungle Roost!
Enjoy your morning coffee on the wraparound deck, watching monkeys foraging and making their way across the treetops.
This 2,500 ft2 home has 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms and is fully and comfortably furnished. It has floor-to-ceiling windows with unobstructed views designed to bring the outside into the open and welcoming interior. This unique home's architectural design includes numerous sliding glass doors that open to allow breezes through the house. There are ceiling fans and AC throughout the house.
The ground level has ample parking, and a laundry room equipped with a washer and dryer.
The main level includes a spacious great room, fully-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar/island, deck surrounding the living area, and bathroom. Also, you can admire the wide outdoor space and jungle garden as a little piece of paradise from over 2,000 ft2 pool deck. The deck is partially covered by a large gazebo, organized with a dining table, and sun lounges. Enjoy your outdoor jungle life while using the outdoor grill kitchen, serviced with an extra half-bathroom and a hidden shower. Indulge yourself in the gorgeous 10-meter swimming pool featured with a lovely waterfall.
Walk up one level to the expansive master bedroom with two queen-sized beds, sliding doors to the wraparound deck, and massive windows for unobstructed views of the canopy wildlife. This level also has a full bathroom.
Walk up to another level to the fourth floor where there are two beautifully decorated bedrooms with king-size beds and a full bathroom. Both bedrooms have floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors on two walls providing access to the wraparound deck where there is a large outdoor chesterfield for quiet reading or siestas. Don’t be surprised if a monkey (or 10!) sneaks past. Stay still, and they will amble by looking to jump from the balcony to the nearest tree. You will be tempted to feed them, but please refrain – there is plenty of healthy food in the jungle.
The nearby beach is gorgeous and quiet (half a mile - 10/15 minutes walking distance). If you are in the mood for more people, funky bars, good restaurants, surf schools, groceries parasailing and fun shopping, just stroll 15 or 20 minutes along the white sand to Manuel Antonio.
We follow the COVID-19 heath and safety protocols, and we have two different COVID testing facilities within 10 minutes of the house. By booking in advance, it will also be possible to organize the test privately within the house's comfort.

Jungle Roost was an incredible home base for our family. It is walking distance to Espadilla beach and some great restaurant options.The private backyard pool and gardens made this a real gem. It's impossible to not be relaxed. The wildlife was entertaining every day -- truly a Jungle Roost.The kitchen was well stocked, and I can't reiterate enough how great the backyard space is -- we all gravitated to it each day.The hosts are very attentive, helpful, and a wealth of knowledge about the surrpunding area (activities, restaurants, stores and shops, etc). We highly recommend Jungle Roost!

honestly don’t even know where to start—this trip was incredible from beginning to end, and the biggest reason is our hosts, Ismael and Francesca.I’ll admit, I was a little skeptical at first. Sometimes when a place has that many great reviews, it feels too good to be true—but that is absolutely not the case with Jungle Roost. Every single review is 100% accurate.The house itself is amazing—beautifully designed, spotless, and in a perfect location where you’re surrounded by wildlife. The outdoor pool area is next-level and made it hard to ever want to leave.But what truly made this trip special was the concierge service. I had concerns about safety, booking excursions, and just making sure everything went smoothly in a new place—but Ismael and Francesca took care of everything. Every excursion was thoughtfully selected with excellent, trustworthy vendors. Even transportation—from the airport pickup to getting around during the week—was seamless. They even helped with dinner reservations, making the entire experience completely stress-free.I can’t say enough good things. If you’re even thinking about staying here—this is your sign. Book it. You won’t regret it.

Property and host were even better than advertised! This was a truly memorable and excellent stay. Saw too many monkeys to count, the pool and entire yard were terrific, location was good with decent access to beach.

We loved our stay at Jungle Roost. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved seeing the wildlife at the property: monkeys, sloths, iguanas, birds, and butterflies. The location is wonderful- perfectly situated between a quiet stretch of beach and great restaurants. Ismael is a fantastic, attentive, and kind host. Jungle Roost is a 10/10 stay.
