Welcome to Villa Tortuga, a luxury ocean-view vacation villa in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, where personalized service, breathtaking wildlife, and unforgettable sunsets create the perfect tropical getaway.
Designed for families, couples traveling together, milestone celebrations, and small groups, Villa Tortuga comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests in 4 bedrooms. A private 5th bedroom Casita with its own bathroom can be added for an additional $85 per night, increasing occupancy to 12 guests.
One of the things that sets Villa Tortuga apart is our dedicated villa team. Unlike many vacation rentals that charge extra for chef services, Villa Tortuga includes a dedicated chef, daily housekeeping, and personal concierge service to help make your vacation effortless.
Chef Ricardo is available exclusively for Villa Tortuga guests and prepares breakfast and dinner Monday through Saturday. His chef services are included in your rental rate whether you choose to use them or not. Guests who enjoy chef-prepared meals pay only for groceries, which are purchased based on their preferences and paid directly to the store.
Meals are customized around your group's preferences, dietary restrictions, allergies, and special occasions. If your group prefers to dine out, cook for yourselves, or use Chef Ricardo's services only occasionally, that is completely your choice. There is no requirement to purchase groceries or utilize chef services during your stay, and the rental rate remains the same whether you use the chef or not.
Hisolda provides daily housekeeping service, ensuring the villa remains clean, comfortable, and ready for you to enjoy throughout your stay.
Jessica, your personal concierge, is available before and during your vacation to assist with rental cars, airport transportation, grocery pre-stocking, private spa services, massages, fishing charters, catamaran cruises, zip-lining adventures, ATV tours, restaurant reservations, special celebrations, and much more. From the moment you book until the day you depart, Jessica is there to help create a seamless Costa Rica experience.
Please note that Chef Ricardo and Hisolda arrive daily to provide services and then depart, allowing guests complete privacy to enjoy the villa.

Wildlife Right Outside Your Door
One of the most memorable parts of staying at Villa Tortuga is the incredible wildlife. Guests frequently spot capuchin monkeys, sloths, toucans, and Scarlet Macaws directly from the villa. Howler monkeys can often be heard in the surrounding jungle, and many guests enjoy visits from Mr. Sanchez, the property's resident iguana.
Relax and Recharge
For ultimate relaxation, enjoy treatments at the villa's private spa. Martha offers Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Hot Stone massages as well as manicures and pedicures. Private yoga sessions overlooking the ocean can also be arranged through your concierge.

Wow! There is a reason this villa has a 5-star rating — you will not be disappointed. We traveled as a family of seven (five adults and two kids) to celebrate our 40th birthday, and it exceeded every expectation.Highlights:Chef Ricardo and AlbaI truly can’t say enough about the incredible food. Every meal was cooked to perfection — especially the fresh seafood, warm bread, and unforgettable desserts. The spice blends and sauces were outstanding, and everything was beautifully presented. They made every meal feel special and were extremely accommodating to our family’s preferences. We have never eaten so well on vacation!The VillaThe villa itself is absolutely stunning. The housekeeper is incredibly kind and keeps the home spotless. Having daily tidying and laundry service was such a wonderful perk and made the stay feel completely relaxing.Tours & Concierge ServiceWe used Jessica, the concierge, to book all of our tours — highly recommend! She was incredibly responsive, accommodated some last-minute changes, and even arranged a turtle release for us. She also organized a waterfall tour that was a major highlight of the trip. Our guide, Tony (who runs Tony’s Surf School), was fantastic — the kids absolutely loved him and wished he could have guided all our tours!We can’t thank Jackie and her team enough for such an unforgettable experience. This was our third time in Costa Rica but our first time in Manuel Antonio — and we can’t wait to come back!

Our stay at Villa Tortuga was perfection! The villa has breathtaking views. Loved waking up to watch the sunrise and listen to the howler monkeys. The sunsets were gorgeous too! The layout of the home was perfect for our group! Ricardo and his wife were so kind and provided great meals for us! They were open to our suggestions, very flexible when we would message them about changes or additions to the meal. Their service was definitely 5 star! Jessica was fantastic in helping us plan our excursions before the trip and transportation to and from the airport. She typed up a well organized itinerary with all the info we needed. The tour companies she used were amazing! Zero complaints. Life long memories made!Lastly, we saw a lot of wildlife from the home! Macaws loved to hang out in the trees, saw monkeys at the house and on the same street! There was a tree down the road that toucans sometimes hung out on and we even saw whales from the pool deck!Our time in Costa Rica was magical and one of our favorite trips ever. Thank you Villa Tortuga!

This place is heaven on earth. An absolutely beautiful home, perfectly located in paradise. The staff is wonderful, the chef is phenomenal, and the homeowner is very kind and helpful. The chef speaks excellent English and is eager to work with you on any of your wants and needs. The house was incredibly clean and well decorated, with great feng shui and great views of the ocean. Expect to see McCaws from the balconies or living room, and hear the low howl of the howler monkeys in the distance. The kitchen amenities are above and beyond, and the coffee bar has a plethora of syrup varieties and options. The grounds are well maintained and flourishing with plush colorful plant life. Prior to arrival the owner, Jackie, will send you an incredibly detailed welcome package telling you everything you might like to know in regards to your stay, both at the house and while traveling around. They really take the stress out of traveling abroad and managing large groups. I would also like to mention that the location is very safe. The house is very secure and in a good neighborhood, and the nearby towns and beaches felt very safe as well. I celebrated my 40th birthday here with a crew of 7 other people and every single one of us would HIGHLY recommend this place. Enjoy!
