Away at the bay

It's near all the amenities. We loved the table tennis located just behind the house . It was a very cosy cottage

The Internet didn't work .Also it did say onthe advert it would be replacing the bath with a shower in july, so my wife assumed there was a bath bt there wasn't advert needs updating ,she loves a bath.

Excellent location, top notch quality accommodation and a real home form hone.

Located 1 minutes walk from all on site amenities (shop, pharmacy, pub and restaurants). House was very clean and had all of the things you need for a home from home, (WIFI, satellite TV, Fully load kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine etc.) Both bedrooms where exceptional with plenty of carboard/draw space and all three beds where very soft and comfy. Overall a 10/10 for comfort, location and value for money, which I would highly recommend if you are planning a family stay as the lovely clean, 5 mile long beach is only a 10 minute walk through the Bay park.

Parking is offered on a first come first served basis which can be tricky if you venture out and someone nicks your spot.

Large property, beach nearby but small amendments need to be made.

The location of the property was good for the beach and local onsite facilities. The property had a good range of cooking utensils and appliances making it easy for the family to have dinners at the property. Finally the property was spacious and there was ample car parking nearby.

Although the property is dog friendly there was still dog hairs on the carpet and chairs. The travel cot supplied did not have a matress and therefore we had to improvise with a folded duvet. Due to the location of this property, it is near a cut through path which is often used by others staying at Filey Bay, which can be noisy at times. Finally the blinds in the bedroom let light through during the very early hours of the morning which woke our 2 year old at 5am.

Great location, property good but totally failed our two most important reasons for choosing it

We had two major requirements. First COVID safety. Had manifestly NOT be cleaned when we arrived, cleaners showed up the following day. Second, a dryer or washer/dryer. There is a washer/dryer, but the dryer didn't work. So a big fail on the two most important reasons we chose the property
