The Dragons Den

Very clean and cosy. Bathroom, kitchen and living areas had everything we needed and was all very good quality. Really enjoyed our stay. Great location with lovely scenic walks. Will come again

The Mattress wasn't quite for us but maybe that's down to personal choice. It wasn't quite comfy enough to get a good night's sleep.

Overnight stay in February

We stayed in the Granary which provided a great space suitable for couples and families. The property had a nice relaxed vibe and was is set in a lovely peaceful location.

Quiet, relaxing stay

Very cute little room, ideal for 2 for a few nights. Clean, tidy, and well stocked for self catering. Owner was friendly.

Generally nil to say, just personal opinions, a very soft mattress, extra towels would have been beneficial, and the heating seemed to be locked at quite a high temperature (although that might be us being stupid!)

A hidden gem

We stayed in the stable den for the night and we absolutely loved it. The farm itself is amazing surrounded by pure scenery and completely away from the busy world. Everyone on the farm are very welcoming and I’m looking forward to staying again in the future.

Worth all the money

Stayed at 2 bedroom apartment and could not recommend it more. Everything was very clean and new bathroom. Kitchen very good equiped for stays with children. Location was very nice and felt like being peace of heaven.

Very enjoyable stay

Everything was perfect. We found this place randomly and it’s now our go to place when we go to wales; we also did our Christmas there. The place is lovely, there is literally everything you need; we stayed both in the cottage with the private garden and the one without a garden, both were lovely and fully equipped. In the fridge they leave a bottle with their own milk for you to enjoy; there is a really nice view of the mountains and horses and sheep! On Christmas, they left a Christmas card and some chocolate under the Christmas tree they’ve put inside the cottage for us. 100% recommended!!

Perfect

We are just back from the perfect stay, which completed exceeded our expectations. The location is so peaceful with local walks and not too far to venture out if you want to. Rich is an amazing host bringing us a fire pit to make s’mores with the kids. 2 families who have had the best wkd will definitely be booking again. And we woke up to snow.

Perfect location for traffic-free easy walks and cycle rides.

We stayed for three nights between Christmas and New year and had a wonderful time. We booked late and had one of the smaller rooms - Dragon's Den but it had absolutely everything... Complimentary coffee, tea, milk chocolates, towels, spacious hot shower, swivel smart tv..... The accomodation was very warm, clean and comfortable. The location, surrounded by horses and ponies was magical. Fabulous, easy, traffic-free walks through woodland to the Mawddach estuary to Barmouth and Dolgellau. Safe storage for bicycles - perfect for Lon Las Cymru. Fabulous, thank you.

I liked the overall theme of the farmhouse, rooms were quiet and obviously no disturbance

Just make sure you keep everything you need like groceries food etc because it’s hard to get anything around the area.

Absolutely perfect!

I liked absolutely everything about this stay. The communication from the owners was fantastic, quick and helpful. The accommodation was 2nd to none! I booked 4 different apartments for myself and family and each one was amazing. So beautiful, absolutely spotless, comfy, everything you could need! I, personally, stayed in The Granary and I adored the little quirky touches, especially the little hedgehog and it's very own door!! The site itself is beautiful and it was lovely to see the horses and Highland cattle. Really couldn't have asked for me. Everything was perfect!

Fantastic warm and cosy cabin

Brilliant cabin. Really warm and comfortable after a hike up Cader Idris. Perfect for a father and son trip. We loved the log burner and the kitchen space was perfect for rustling up a hearty meal. Shower was great too. So nice to arrive to a welcome sign, heating already on and a key in the door. Hope to be back soon. Thank you.

Stayed in the Stables. One good sized bedroom with en-suite. Other two bedrooms are v small 8’x8’ and only partitioned f

Very quiet location. Lovely Walks from the accommodation. Space in kitchen and lounge. Main bedroom had en-suite and was large. Access good with parking on site. If you like horses, you’ll like the farm even more. Beds and linen clean and fresh. Good tv. Good heating.

Dated furniture and somewhat tired. Please be aware that double bedrooms 2 and 3 are 8’x8’ spaces with 7’ high partitions between each other and to the kitchen (4’ from top of partition to roof). One of the single beds is a camp bed. No wardrobes or drawers can fit in either room.

The location is amazing, the farm and setting is so beautiful. Our apartment was perfect, everything we needed, spotlessly clean and designed well. We loved being so close to the Mawddach Trail.
