Lovely property right next to Herculaneum. Antonio greeted us upon arrival. He’s very nice and accommodating. His daughter Sara, set up a lovely breakfast. Our beds were comfortable and the rooms were lovely. The lights are operated by keeping the card in the slot. So that meant the air conditioner would turn off when we left the room and took the card which is also the room key. I asked if there was a way to keep the ac on, and we were promptly given actual keys so that the card could remain in the slot. Our room had a balcony with a view of Vesuvius. There’s also a common area Terrace overlooking the bay of Naples

The location is convenient to Herculaneum ruins, but the area in general looks a bit sketchy. That’s just my opinion, so I could be wrong. We felt safe because the building is gated to keep out intruders.

The staff was excellent. Very helpful and accommodating. When the train wasn't operating, they helped us arrange a ride to Naples. They also were helpful with our son's gluten intolerance. Breakfast was fantastic! Also the location was excellent - right next to the Herculaneum and a short walk from the regional rail stop for Erco Scavi.

Location grerat Sara was so helpful and warm!
