Overall a pleasant stay and good value.
Very nice property located close to Shannan airport. V good communication with hosts and on several occasions that I texted hosts I received a reply straight away. Bedrooms were a good size with ensuite bathrooms and the beds were very comfortable.
The hot water tap in bathroom was loose and kept dripping (taps need replacing). Dishwasher door could not be opened as it was too close to the kitchen cabinet door, had to move dishwasher slightly to open the door.

Location, close to Shannon Airport and buses
Not totally clear how the hot water system worked although not a problem for our brief stay.

Restful and relaxing but close to Ennis and Limerick which are just short drive away
It was a really quiet area.... no cars even as they were parked in car park. House was very comfortable and everything you could want. The house was clean and comfortable. We had a lovely stay in Bunratty Castle Gardens. We would very highly recommend it. No. 17 was perfect.
Everything was perfect for us. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed it so much.

Great location house needs a deep clean
Location and garden
Not very clean smell of dog in the bedroom downstairs when I pulled out the stool at desk dog hairs on skirting and carpet, not enough toilet rolls or towels . Couldn't help with luggage storage for 2\3 hrs or late checkout when one of the kids ended up in hospital thought this waa a poor service

Very disappointing
It was old and worn like a student accommodation I stayed in about 25 years ago, carpets worn, noise from pipes when you turned on water, toilet & shower downstairs old, no private fence outside like it shows in pictures, smell of damp in house

visit to bunratty
it was near bunratty castle + a few pubs.
the house was old . windows u could barley open. note left for us before leaving strip the beds .I.thought that was the cleaners job. the handle on the porch door was off the hinges. the plug for the toaster was cracked. we won't be staying there again. it wasn't worth the price for the two nights.

Rock hard beds and run down
Location to bunratty castle was great
The beds especially the double and single bed downstairs was rock hard and could feel the springs in the mattress. Asked for a mattress topper but was advised as none available and told to switch to another bed.
Shower head was broken in main bathroom and the shower was very tight. Had trouble bending down to pick anything up from the shower tray.
Broken tiles in the hallway. Heating was set on a timer for some reason.
No dryer - this was advertised on booking.com which was a deal breaker for us. So was disappointed this wasn't supplied, was also advertised on another website that there was a dryer.
Ants in the kitchen by the bin. Hob all rusted as well as frying pan.
Couch was very uncomfortable and had metal bar by knees so hard to get out of when sitting.
Generally needs a big upgrade.

Will not return
The location
The shower in one of the upstairs bathrooms was leaking down onto the table whilst having dinner. The beds were not comfortable at all. The bathroom taps kept leaking. The whole house is in need of a complete upgrade. No lights over back or front door. The pictures in the booking is not the house we were in. Also I think the additional charge for the dogs of €80 was bit much as they wasn't even as much as an enclosed garden as per the picture or a simple water dish for them. I have stayed in holiday homes before with my two little dogs and no additional fees were charged. The fact it had to be paid in cash on arrival was also strange. The only positive outcome of this trip was the lady that met us at the house was super friendly. Unfortunately myself or my family will not be returning and would advise against it for other family or friends asking us. Didn't think it was worth the money to be honest. The area in which these houses are in is in need of a upgrade all round.

Family trip
The location was great. Parking was free and close to the cottege. The facilities were good. The beds were very confotable. The cottege had extra places: small garden, living room, dinig place.
It was great location to visit country.
The host sent 2 phone number: for problem and for chech in. We texted exact arriving time and nobody waiting for me. The reception was closed. Phones did not answered. We tried to call them for 1 hour!!!! We were very anxcious. Then 1 hour lated call me back and said the cottege number. It had been opened. Nobody presented the cottege and the surounding. We had no problem, but I am sure nobody helped us in this case.

Pleasant
Convenient location for the purpose of our stay. Easy access to Limerick city. Nice pubs and eateries near by. Lots of space in the house. Host was very helpful and resolved complaints that we had. Lots of hot water and central heating, when needed.
Cleanliness of property. Attention to detail required with the cleanliness of the property. The floors on arrival looked clean but were sticky to walk on. The communal areas (sitting room, dining area, bathrooms) were clean and dust free, however there was a lot of dust lying on and in furniture, wardrobes, drawers in bedrooms. The kitchen needs to be updated. One ring on hob did not work. The outside of the kitchen presses as well as handles on presses were greasy to the touch. The oven trays were not washed. Cleaning utensils under the sink were not fit for purpose. One teatowel for a five day stay. Dishwasher provided but no dishwasher tablets. No provision of cleaning products. On arrival the TV did not work, sash windows could not be opened. Heat of the day drew ants into the house via the patio back doors. Only one bin for all rubbish - consideration needs to be given to the provision of separate bins... general waste, recycling waste and compost waste. A couple of bedroom windows require attention relating to handles.

Great location, nice and quiet. Right beside castle.perfect for families although avoid JP clarkes across road very rude on arrival we didn't stay.
Host answered questions in very timely manner although I would have expected to meet them on arrival but we didn't. But Any problems we had she was very responsive and accommodating. A lovely place to stay
Showers bit grubby. TV better suited in corner. Too high up on wall. Being asked to strip beds before leaving, assist with cleaning although cleaning was included In price. Being told we could get charged more cleaning fee if not done. No brush to sweep floors but we left it very clean.

Superb
Warm welcome from Kiren and prompt check in/out. Kitchen and utilities were suitable for our needs. We were allowed to bring our 2 pets and local area was suitable for exercise. Location was very close to local amenities.
Flies were an ongoing problem, but, to be fair this was due to the local envirnoment and fly spray was provided.

Never again and I would not recommend
There was very little to like. I've traveled quite a bit and this was subpar
Cleanliness was seriously lacking, run down property, not safe for children. Cars driven everywhere, even in areas clearly marked not to. Questionable night time behaviors of other tenants.

Very poor
The vicinity is quite good and pleasant people around.
The apartment, there were spider webs everywhere, mattress uncomfortable with springs very obvious, dirty and covered with protector. TV not working for the duration of our stay (4days).
It is not a good value for money. Never recommending it for anyone.

Avoid at all costs
The location was the only thing to like about this property
Where to start… avoid, avoid, avoid. The host never meets you, the keys are left on the mantle inside the house, I had to text the host to find out how to collect (even though the host advised me they would contact me to let me know how to get the keys). When we arrived, we sat down to put on the tv as we had just had a 3 hour drive, surprise, the tv does not work. We contacted the host who advised that the tv was down for the whole of Bunratty and should be sorted on Monday (this was not the case as we asked around numerous other people, further it was an aerial tv so could not be down for the whole village!). Monday came and went and the TV was still not working. The beds in the house are shocking, you would be better off sleeping on the floor (that is if they changed the carpets, which were so stained in each room). The biggest issue we had was with the shower in the downstairs toilet, the shower starts off warm and all of a sudden is cold, then scalding hot (without you having changed the temperature). My back got burnt as I could not get out of the shower when the water went scalding (there are no handles on the inside of the shower door to open from the inside). I contacted the host who couldn’t have cared less that I got burnt and was advised that maintenance would be around tomorrow. I subsequently received a text the following day to advise that maintenance found no issue with the shower (all they did was turn down the power in the shower, which by the way was only a trickle at even the best of power). I tried the shower again at full power and low and behold, the same issue, cold then scalding then back to cold again ( this continued if you left the shower at max power no matter the temperature). The only decent shower in the house had a blocked drain! Also the fire blanket had not been serviced in over 3 years. Do yourself a favour and stay anywhere but here.
