A lovely stay in a lovely cabin.

Everything about this lovely cabin was 10/10. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and the young lad that met us was really friendly. The cabin is set back in the woods near the owners house but it's very secluded. The facilities were amazing, lovely kitchen and bathroom, living/dining room was very cosy and the bedrooms were very comfortable. We all really enjoyed our stay here and when we go to visit family (who live locally) we would love to stay again. 😁

Very nice Cabin!

The property is located only few minutes driving to Croom village which has a SPAR supermarket. It was an strategic location for us and it worked well. The landscape and the surrounding areas of the property are very beautiful. The cabin has everything you need for the stay, just need to bring in your food/drinks. The beds are comfy, the heating system works well (it was on before we arrived). The owner Vincent is very responsive through Booking app. We would stay there again on our next road trip around the area.

Not a concern but the pictures show as if the cabin is in the middle of the woods, which it is but it is also very close to the main house which could be something highlighted in the description but not an issue at all, there is a marked spot for guests beside the main house.

Beautiful log cabin

It is a lovely cosy cottage, with everything you need. The owner left out an information booklet with attractions and places to eat near by. The view and countryside around it is beautiful. The log cabin was warm and has everything you need. Beautiful

We loved everything about the butterfly cabin ,it had everything we could have needed ,it was spacious, spotless clean and the host was so nice .Derry the dog was a bonus visiting for her rubs .I would highly recommend this peaceful little spot .

Fabulous little cabin!

We will definitely come back here. I really wished we had been staying longer. It was a charming cabin, well kept, with everything we needed. My children all loved it and there was a friendly dog and cat who came to visit and sit on the decking. The children were just captivated.

It didn’t bother me, but for those fearful of spiders, there were many spiders and webs both indoors and out.

Great place to stay.

The cabin was large and roomy with a kitchen. My teenagers appreciated having a TV with streaming capabilities. The beds were nice and comfortable. We had a nice visit from the owner's dog which was a highlight of our day.

There was not shampoo,.conditioner, or body wash in the bathroom. That would have been a nice touch.

We were comfortable, had everything we needed, all was in good working order, and we appreciated the host’s hospitality

- it was quiet, spacious, and private - we slept comfortably - the host, Fiona, was approachable, welcoming, and helpful - we liked the animals (host’s pets), Sam and Derry - the kitchen was functional and well-equipped - we liked that there were extra blankets - I liked that the water was from the owner’s own well - appreciated the book provided by the host with important information about the cabin and attractions in the area

- there were not enough seats on the sofa/living room for all 5 of us. The kids fought over who got to sit on it. I suggest adding another sofa since the cabin can accommodate 5. - the location was not ideal for what we had planned for our holiday - I expected the cabin to have a separate driveway, so I drove past it almost twice. I suggest informing future guests that the cabin is on the same property as the main house. - we wished the cabin would have come equipped with a coatrack and hooks/towel bars to hang our coats, backpacks, and towels.

Peaceful and comfortable retreat in the countryside

I wish we had booked a longer stay! The cabin was so cozy and comfortable, and in a beautiful setting. I had the best sleep of my holiday here because of the comfortable bed and the quiet. We didn’t meet the hosts, but they were very accommodating beforehand for our changing needs. Highly recommend!

Fantastic cabin tucked away for a relaxing stay

Beautiful spot WISH we had booked two nights in a row as we hop around Ireland. Gorgeous cabin lots of space, cooking facilities big fridge and freezer and dishwasher. Oh and a coffee pod machine! Love the welcoming animals too :)

Perfect destination

We loved the Butterfly Cabin... I personally loved that it was all on one level especially with kids so no worrying about stairs.. we loved how big it is so the kids had room to run around. Beds were so comfy fell asleep immediately. Loved they had a dog on the property she's such a cute little puppy and so friendly.. Will definitely be back again..

Good facilities. Spacious and comfortable.

Could have been cleaner. Table had crumbs from previous guests and hairs in the bathroom but nothing that we couldn't sort with a 30 minute clean. Just didn't expect to have to do that. No WiFi was a major problem and we should have been advised before. I even called a day or two in advance to speak to owner and no mention of this.

Quite country side, warm and cosy with convenient location. Had the best nights sleep, I am definitely returning..two suggestions 1-blanket needed a refresh 2. bottle of water would exceed expectation. (not all drink from the tap :)..thank you for your lovely little place my family had a great stay.

Cabin was lovely. Perfect place for a getaway from the city. Easy to find - had no issues. The owners were lovely and gave us the space. Would definitely recommend for couples getaway. And the pets were lovely and friendly

If you're travelling in the evening, it's a bit hard to see the sign for guests parking but we didn't have issues - we just moved the car in the morning.
