Location is brilliant and the accommodation has everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were great responded very quickly and helped us when we arrived early. They kept us informed throughout our stay. The wine, water and cake was very welcome when we arrived. As stated previously the spiral staircase is steep , we were ok with it, but it did make you remember to bring down everything you needed . The balconies are great. One looks out over the little street below. The top one has wonderful views especially at night , watch your head at the top . Would definitely return if we returned

Excellent location in the old town.
Close to restaurants and bars and the main sights in Funchal.
Self-catering.
A little noisy at night when the refuse is collected, but that's something which is common to all Funchal areas.
