Excellent location moments away from the centre of Mousehole. Lovely fire and a very well equipped new kitchen with washer dryer. Small but handy seating area for drinks behind the cottage. It's small but not tiny or cramped with no low ceilings. We went in winter and it was warm with plenty of radiators, heater and the fire. Lovely welcome pack, thanks.
The bed was a bit firm for us. While the stairs are a little narrow they were absolutely no problem for us.

Sweet cottage with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Lovely welcome pack of tea/coffee, cornish biscuits and fruit juices, milk and additional touch of fresh of flowers! Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed was cosy and comfortable. Great location just a few minutes walk from the harbour.
Not a dislike at all but something to be aware of; parking can be tricky, especially if needing to use your car regularly during your stay. We found a free space up the hill which was approx. a 5min walk to the cottage - I was travelling with my young daughter and the weather wasn’t great during our stay so this was only a minor issue for our personal circumstances!

Lovely little Cottage in Mousehole.
Signage was on the side wall, making the Cottage difficult to find in the dark.check out on Booking.com stated 11am but message from owner stated 10am.

Fantastic property, clean, comfortable and warm with the heating and log burner. Host was fantastic, Mousehole is so beautiful and a perfect location for exploring the south coast - thank you
Parking was a slight worry as even out of season the harbour car park filled very quickly and the cost of £10 for 24 hours an additional cost to our break.

The house itself was pretty much as promised. It was very compact but everything was there. We put a radiator on low and that kept the whole house warm . Comfy bed.
The stairs were very narrow with a twist at the top where I had to manoeuvre my feet to get around the corner. Not ideal.
Also my biggest disappointment. The advert for this home implied there were sea views when infact it was tucked up a lane where the only view was the house in front. Upsetting actually.

Loved the location, about 100 yards from the seafront harbour . The cottage is well kept - nice and clean - small but perfectly formed and has everything we needed for a short break. We got very lucky with the weather - bright and sunny everyday so this always helps. Would definitely recommend for 2 people and would stay again. Lovely welcome pack with Cornish biscuits and apple juice. Easy walk to the harbour and to a good selection of eating places. We came by train so no issues with parking - and regular buses to and from Penzance makes it very easy.
Would have preferred a kings size bed rather than a double - but space is a premium so understand this - and offset by good quality bedding.

Hosts left Cornish biscuits & apple juice. The cottage is a minutes walk from the harbour. The bed was exceptionally comfortable with a luxury duvet, very comfortable sofa.
Very little to complain about! If I was picky - in shower could do with a shelf to put products on so you don’t have to bend over. Plus husband wanted the fridge door to open the other way 😂 - if he’d have his tools he’d have switched it over!

The kitchen was very good. The bedroom was very nice and the location was spot on.
Very small overgrown garden.
Very narrow stairs with tight turn.

Great location in a beautiful coastal village. Cottage was compact but had everything we needed. Will definately return.

Beautiful comfy bed and kitchen
Electric Shower broken, cold water only, low pressure.
Kitchen lacked basics like cooking oil, no shops in mousehole.
Damp in kitchen, old broken dehumidifier w no on switch, Nicola insisting only she knew ‘the trick’ to operate shower and dehumidifier, sort of means it’s broken? She finally offered 20 percent discount.

V convenient and quiet location. 1 minute careless walk down to the sea through a little lane. charming.

Beautiful town and coast. Like all of the Old Town, it’s a warren of tiny streets and small lodgings. Mousehole, after all. Yet perfectly appointed and charming.
Not a dislike, just a caution: inside stairway is narrow and a bit slick. Old folks step carefully.

Beautiful little cottage in great location, just off the harbour.
The cottage had a lovely log burner and a super comfy bed with the most luxurious duvet.
The kitchen was very well equipped and the owner left some lovely treats.
The shower in the bathroom is bigger than it looks in the pictures and bath towels supplied were lovely quality.
The cottage was lovely and quiet in the evening and the harbour is just a couple of minutes walk away.

Excellent use of space in a small cottage with all utensils we could need and thoughtful sample of food/milk.
Bed was uncomfortable.

Tiny house which was all we needed for a three night stay. Kitchen was well equipped and a nice touch to leave fresh flowers.
As with nearly all properties in Mousehole, parking was in the public car parks which were quite busy even in September.
Also, shower was functional but not very powerful.

Good location close to coastal walks and the sea.
Parking is a real issue in the village.
Even if you have a car it will be difficult. Maybe easier out of season?

Cosy little cottage in an amazing location. Has everything you need for a getaway.
The kitchen is well equipped for everything you need to cook, but there are plenty of great places to eat in Mousehole. The Ship Inn and 2 Fore Street were amazing places to eat!
Parking at the main and suggested harbour car park can be difficult, unless you are willing to wait for a space or try the other car park across the harbour.
The bannister is a little wobbly and has been mentioned in previous reviews so probably needs looking at.
The addition of some smaller soup/cereal bowls would be great!

Mousehole is a lovely village to visit and we loved it. Communication from Nicole was timely and helpful. The cottage is well located close to the harbour. The kitchen is quite new and has just about everything you’d need - no dishwasher. The thoughtful gift of fudge and shortbread was really appreciated as were the fresh flowers. Parking was no problem in the street outside, but we visited in early October when things get a lot quieter.
It’s an older property and we found it quite cramped for our 5 night stay. The bed is only a double, and the shower quite small. The stairs are quite steep and narrow. Unfortunately they have an obvious problem with damp, understandable in such an old building.

sofa uncomfortable, damp musty smell . Expensive compared to similar stays in similar properties.

It was in a lovely location close to the harbour.
The cottage has everything we needed including milk in the fridge.
Decor was very good.
Unfortunately the smoke detector started beeping at 3am so we didn’t get back to sleep. They did come and sort it the next day.
It was very humid when we stayed and a Fan would have been amazing.
The banister was very wobbly needs to be tightened.

There was nothing unlikable about this cottage or the people.
