This was perfect for a rainy Jan! Hot bath, log fire! The facilities were amazing! Can't wait to come back

Very cozy and great location. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment.

We had issues with not being able to control the heat/temperature. It seemed to be on a schedule on the Nest but we couldn’t keep our selection consistent and if we turned up the heat we then couldn’t turn it down later to turn off which resulted in us either being very warm or very cold. It was hard to manage with a toddler for overnight sleep. We did have someone stop by to assist but said they couldn’t override the Nest as it was an old system and they didn’t have the login/access code. We also had issues with the cold water tap that stopped working after a few days. We did have someone stop by quickly to address which was good. Tile floors didn’t seem very clean upon our arrival. Looked like they had been swept but not washed. Baby cots are not available and the cot company rental they recommended said they don’t service Mousehole so it was a bit difficult to have to go to St. Ives and back to rent. However, it looks like the linen company they use is the same one (based on the linen bag) so could have been an additional service they offer or coordinate with the linens for cot pick up and delivery. Or would be great to have a cot available in the house. Kitchen was great but would recommend having some hot pads to take food out of the oven. Didn’t find any available.
