Location is brilliant. Provided everything we needed. Sweet courtyard. Providing milk & biscuits was very thoughtful.
Heating could have been a bit better. Felt a bit chilly at times. Instructions to boost heating would help.

It's a great location, with fantastic local amenities. You won't be disappointed with the views - although these views cannot be seen from the cottage. Staying in Mousehole will give you easy access to other southerly parts of Cornwall. Beautiful harbor setting.
Salt, pepper, oil and cleaning products are provided which was useful.
- Cleanliness of the property: Towels were dirty, sheets were dirty, mirrors had dust all over them. The floors looked as though they hadn't been hoovered in months
- Bathroom: The bathroom was extremely small. You could barely dry yourself. Over the course of the week all you could smell was damp.
-Lighting- its very dark inside the cottage as it is fully enclosed so the photos for the cottage advert are deceiving.
- Courtyard: The outside courtyard was filthy whilst we appreciate it is open to the outside elements there had been no attempt to clean the outside area. There was bird excrement, that again, looks like it had been there for months. It took 5 minutes with a hose and brush to make the outside area usable.
- Seagulls: Although it's expected to have them, considering your staying on at a harbor. It would nice of the owner to mention that at 4.00 am every morning you will be awoken with none stop squawking which mean you cannot have any windows open and it becomes very stuffy very quickly. Take ear plugs if you hope to have any sleep past 4.00 am!
-Hoover was not working, we wanted to make some attempt to clean the accommodation but the hoover did not work and on further inspection was so full so wouldn't have been usable had it worked!! This may explain the lack of cleanliness on arrival.
