I need the host refund.

I could not contact with the host when I arrived and I have to book another place to stay. The host did not refund.

I texted the host because of heavy raining and came late after the checkin time. The host did not reply (I tried to called and texted her a lot for 1 hour at the front of vila) and reply me on the midnight when I booked another place already. She was so rude.

Terrible

I would not recommend anyone stay here. The title "Luxury Villa" is far from true. This is a property which is very dated and is need of some serious repairs. The stairs had mould coming through the paint work. The bottom door was completely broken meaning that when you tried to open the door the handle fell off. The outside sitting area cover was completely covered in dirt and leaves meaning now there were holes in it. The area where you sit had broken rocks falling out of the wall and the cement which holds the stair to the bottom door also broken. A large piece of the iron work which fills the form of the concrete was sticking out about 15-20cm. A perfect recipe for our 2 year old to have an accident. The furniture on the inside is old and worn. One particular chair which you can see an image of is completely broken and the bottom is falling out. I am all for beautiful antique furniture but not this. The kitchen fridge is held up or balanced with I believe plastic which has been folded to keep it straight and because of its age it is just not cold. Least not cold enough for cool drink. The drawers as well were in a mishap and breaks just made the kitchen look and feel really run down. There are two bathrooms one with bath and the other with a shower in the two separate rooms up stairs but the shower door at some point must have broken and now there is no shower door so its water everywhere as you can imagine as its a small cabin shower that needs a door to keep the water in. The gentlemen who met us at the property told us that we probably shouldn't drink the water out the taps which must also mean the plumbing is very old as well and not safe to use. The bath in the other bathroom where you would have the "shower head" extension is broken as well and unusable. The outside area in front of the house has not been cleaned or swept and is in a state of disrepair.

Poor value for money

The location and the Lake Como Views

The site listed laundry and there was no washing machine in the villa. When I contacted the owner about it, she claimed it must have been a booking.com error. She made the ridiculous proposition of washing the clothes by hand. And directed to a laundromat which was closed. The owner explained there are restrictions imposed by the government, and she chose a dishwasher over a washing machine. We were only Spending 2 nights and we don’t expect this after spending over 1700 euros ! She also referred to her housekeeper whom we only saw on arrival and was inexistent throughout our stay. The master bedroom had no closet to hang clothes, the bathroom does not have a sliding shower door, the mosquito screen on the window is torn. There are no hooks to hang towels. No bathroom on the main floor. The electricity tripped twice with only 2 fans running. A very expensive stay for what is offered. Only the lake views and location are the winners. At this price, one would expect more comfort, luxury and even basic toiletries.

The view on the lake is stunning, the garden is also nice. The property was spacious and very clean. The kitchen has all equipment to cook. The bedrooms are big. Good for one night.

The furniture is old and not really comfortable. The main issue is the location on a very busy road. One room is quiet (lake view) and the other one is not at all (on the street). Don't consider walking to the center, there is no sidewalk and narrow road. The shower door was broken in one bathroom, and the other has a bath with no curtain. Contrary to what is written in the ad and shown in pictures, there is no shampoo or shower gel provided. The term 'luxury' is inappropriate.

Good staff and perfect location!

This is my 3rd time in como lake. Early i took an apartment in lenno! This time i went with my family and we were 4! the best view and the best location! A few minutes away from the station and really easy to reach the lake! and there was a lady and her name was Carla she was really nice to us! because of the rain we were late and our phones were dead! but she did her best to keep our bags and it was a big help! she was so nice! i rate this! we had everything we wanted in the apartment!

disappointing

The view is stunning, especially in the evening lights

The photos don't show that the apartment has not been renovated in the last 30-40 years. The heaters on the upper floor didn't work, it was really cold at nights, the bathroom was reminiscent of the 80s, the quality of the shower and faucet was low. There was no toilet paper, we had to buy it. The bed has no backrest, two metal beds have been put together, the once white built-in wardrobes have turned yellow, the atmosphere is depressing. The furniture of the whole apartment shows that they want to make a big profit with a small investment. For a price of 330 euros/night, this is more than outrageous.

Terrible Host who refuses a late check-in, takes full amount because of non-refundable reservation!

I like the they were communicating until I made a payment for property.

Once I had made a payment couple before the arrival date, their attitude changed. First we agreed that my family would check-in around 20:00 and they replied with perfecto. Before 20:00, I realised that the flight will be late, so I send them a message at 19:22 to inform them that we need to check in at 23:00 instead of 20:00, and they replied with sorry we can't open the door for you at that time. Which meant my reservation was not valid anymore because it was cancelled abruptly by the host. And even worse, their inability to accept my new check-in time which was not my fault meant that they will keep all the money of the reservation because the reservation for non-refundable. I have been using booking.com for more than 20 years now, and I believe that booking.com is going down the drains by letting hosts like this one get their way by stealing money from people without providing a service. And it is not little money, 255 euros per night. I believe it is probably time for me to use more expedia because this time, if I don't get my money back, then it will mean that booking.com will not be an option for me anymore. In any case, if you happen to travel to Como, be aware of this host, and try to avoid reserving there because they don't care about you, they just want the money. This was my experience.

Exceptional

We loved the location and the wonderful view. The apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed.. Off-street parking was an unexpected bonus.

The bedroom on the road side was a little noisy from the traffic - there seems to be a drain in the road just outside that makes a thumping noise, as vehicles go over it. Ear plugs may be necessary.

A wonderful house at beautiful Como lake!

The view was absolutely stunning!! Even a bathroom visit was fun because if the view😁 We can definitely recommend this house and we really enjoined our stay!

We would have prefered an air conditioner instead of fans. And the refrigerater could have been more modern and cold. And maybe some hangers to the towels in the bathrooms.

Awesome view from the windows to Como Lake, clean property, personal yard with grill facilities, kitchen with all equipment, near the bus stop, but it is possible to reach the center of Como on foot.

Not very comfort to walk to the vila on foot because there are no pavement.

Klasse, im kleinen Abstrichen…

Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft, super gelegen auf einer Anhöhe mit einem Hammer Blick und man kann sogar den Garten nutzen. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, es richt auch im unteren Bereich leicht muffig, aber ansonsten klasse. Wenn man zu Fuß in die City laufen will, muss man ein paar Meter den Berg hochlaufen und kommt an einer etwas unangenehmen Stelle vorbei, wo es für Fußgänger wirklich ‘eng’ wird, was den Abstand zu den vorbei rasenden Autos angeht.

Много места и виды из окон

За два дня до заезда никто не отвечал на сообщения , ответили ночью перед днём заезда . А на следующий день снова не отвечали , в итоге за два часа до заезда они написали нам чтобы мы не можем приехать к 16:00 потому что вилла не будет готова и чтобы мы приезжали к 16:30 . Мы приехали в 16:30 и они нам не отвечали , потом ответили на звонок но просто молчали и сбросили . У виллы к нам выходил к воротам мальчик но не открывал дверь и только спустя минут 20 он вышел очередной раз и открыл дверь . Английского языка он не понимал . А за день до выезда к нам в дверь начали врываться люди , у них были ключи , они открыли ворота и вошли во двор и без предупреждения начали ломиться к нам в дом и открывать ключами дверь . На вопрос кто это ? Они отвечали что это полиция . Мы не открывали дверь . Мы увидели в окно там двух мужчин и ребенка и они начали спрашивать когда мы выезжаем ? Мы сказали что завтра и они сказали окей , и оставили свои вещи дома . Не советуем этот объект размещения , потому что персонал неадекватен и не компетентен . Лучше взять отель или апартаменты где вы будете уверены что к вам никто не ворвется на закрытую территорию и тем более в дом когда вы , ваша женщина или дети находятся там . Это не безопасно и страшно в чужой стране .

בהתחלה התרשמנו מהתמונות והנוף שיש בתמונות שהגענו לצערנו הרכוש בווילה מאוד ישן מיטה שבורה !! לא איכותיים לבני אדם , אין נקיון ומלא חרקים מסביבה אין מיזוג ונאלצים לפתוח חלון עם כל החרקים מסביבה נכנסים בפנים!! רעש של רכבת שעוברת ליד הווילה כל שעה!! ריח לא נעים מסביבה הלא נקיה!! חוויה הכי גרועה שעברתי עם המשפחה בווילה הזאת!! בקיצור לא ווילה אלו מקום חורבן עם מלא חרקים!

Jaime nos estaba esperando para entregarnos las llaves y mostrarnos la casa. También fue a la hora del check-out a recibir las llaves y despedirnos. ¡Fue un agrado!
