Wonderful short but sweet stay.

Very simple rooms scattered around a wooded area not far from the bridge into Koh Lanta and within easy walking distance of Saladan (about 15 minutes on flat footpaths). A decent sized bathroom with good water pressure and plenty of hot water, basic but good quality toiletries and plenty of places to put your own stuff in the bathroom. The bed was comfy (perhaps a little harder than we’re used to in Europe) and the bedding was spotless and good quality, in fact the room couldn’t have been any cleaner, it was perfect. The AC worked well although the room was shaded so we didn’t need it on constantly. The view from our room was lovely, there is a road but the traffic was light after 9pm and it really didn’t bother us at all. The balcony was a great place to take in the view with a cold drink, a nice chair and table set were provided and a small drying rack to hang wet swimwear and towels. Breakfast was good and served by the owner Ake who was a delightful man and who spoke really good English and clearly cares a lot about his business and his clients.

I cannot think of a negative, we thought it was very good value for money.

Perfect! Lovely people!

10/10 for the staff: Ake is extremely nice, always anticipating your needs and he was constantly available via whatsapp. Rooms are very big, AC is good, lots of water bottles available inside the fridge. They have motorbikes ready for you to rent, he even gave us a brief explanation on how it works.

The only downside might be the location, you might want to reconsider if you dont know how to ride a motorbike (grab/bolt was not available when we were there), it is a 17 minute walk to the walking street/food market.

Amazing

What we loved most about this accommodation was the exceptional hospitality. Ake, the manager, truly went above and beyond in every possible way. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. He even drove through the entire village to find the exact motorbike that matched our wishes, something you rarely experience. Ake was always reachable and proactive. Every morning he messaged us to ask what time we wanted breakfast and what we preferred to eat. Nothing was ever too much trouble. He helped us with transport, was unfailingly kind, and made us feel completely taken care of from start to finish. The level of service and personal attention was truly outstanding. We have never experienced such helpfulness and dedication before. Ake is an absolute gem and a big reason why this stay was so special. Highly recommended.

Amazing host in just a few meters from the center!

The owner Ake is a very friendly person he received us full of nice tips and showing us around and speaks very good English! The bed is a cloud its sooo amazing and confortable we love it! The property have everything you may need and it was very tidy. Also the breakfast they bring to your varanda is very nice!

Ake is the best

The view was incredible and we were served breakfast every morning on our balcony it was amazing. Ake was so helpful, customer service like no other, picked us up and dropped us off at the pier with no extra charge, gave breakfast options and catered to our requests outside of this, he was wonderful and the room was really nice as well

A super lucky space to experience!

The host, Ake, made my birthday weekend feel so special! I was celebrating by myself but Ake went above and beyond to help me feel celebrated, and even cooked the fish I caught from fishing. I rarely leave reviews but I feel that anyone that comes to Koh Lanta should definitely check this place out. Views are great, supreme service, great breakfast and an amazing host! So grateful I choose this stay for my birthday. Thank you for everything Ake, may you continue to be blessed and prosperous.

Idyllic Retreat Close to the Pier

Such a beautiful, quiet location that feels secluded without being far from the main street on the island. The room was very clean and cosy with the comfiest bed, a smart TV and a kitchenette. However the true selling point is the unparalleled service from the host, Ake. As a young woman travelling solo, he made me feel very safe and looked after, driving me anywhere on the island at the drop of a hat, renting me a scooter, dropping off laundry, and providing an excellent breakfast every morning. I can't wait to come back and cannot recommend his place more.

Great quiet place , our host Ake was a gem 💎 . He picked us up from where we rent our bikes after returning them and drove us to the pier in the morning . Very, very nice man !!! The only regret is that we didn't go there sooner ! Highly recommended 🫶

Great stay, amazing host

We had a wonderful stay in Koh Lanta. The host was one of the kindest people we met during our trip and truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. When the scooters he usually rents were already fully booked, he personally accompanied us to a friend of his and helped us choose a good and reliable scooter to explore the island. On our first day, before we had a scooter, he even gave us a ride to the walking street, which we really appreciated. The accommodation was very clean, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it a perfect place to relax. We felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommended, we would definitely stay here again!

You get excellent value for money, hosts who genuinely go out of their way to make your stay more pleasant, and they won’t pressure you for a rating at the end — which means the high score you see on Booking is truly deserved. The accommodation is extremely clean and set in a very good location (keep in mind that the island isn’t centralized, so plan on renting a scooter to get around easily). A big plus is the delicious breakfast the hosts serve right on your terrace, and the smart TV with Netflix, which comes in handy if you get caught by rainy weather or just want to relax with a movie before bed.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The rooms were great and offered absolutely stunning views. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. He went above and beyond during our entire stay — from offering great local tips to helping us with every little detail. You can really feel that he genuinely cares about his guests. The best host we have met in our 6years of travelling :)

We had the most exceptional time at De Saran Lanta. The host Ake was incredible, he gave us the most warm welcome you could ever imagine. He took our clothes to be cleaned and offered to drive us to shops/restaurants in case we didnt feel like riding a scooter (which we did, after he showed us how to properly ride it:). He also prepared us breakfast each morning at requested times. The apartment itself was very clean with a great view, the bed was comfy, the TV was great and it has youtube and netflix on it. On our last day Ake drove us to our van which took us to our next destination. If we ever come back to Lanta we will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much, Ake! :)

Very relaxing stay in a nice peaceful forest setting at a very reasonable price

A nice budget option hidden in a small forest near Sala Dan pier. We spent 7 nights and made use of the kitchen which is well equipped. The room was clean and comfortable. The wifi was good. Ake was a great host and went out of his way to help. Great option for those hiring a motorbike and wanting to choose something a bit away from the beach. Close to the Wednesday market which is a great local food market.

Great host made the stay 10/10.

Wonderful host who helped us with whatever we needed, showed and told us tips for the island, and very responsive. Had a scooter available for us for rent at a very affordable price. Room was clean and modern. Views of the sun rise every morning are right outside the porch. Not on a water/beachfront, but the scooter ride was only about 5-10 mins depending on what beach you are going to. Very much recommend, especially since the host is wonderful. Would stay again!

Beyond happy

This was my first trip to Thailand, I’m traveling solo from the US. Ake picked me up from Saladan pier after taking a 1.5 hr speedboat ride from Phuket. The property is exactly as advertised. I couldn’t be happier. He is attentive, friendly and will help you with anything you need. Ko Lanta is a gem of an island. De Saran Lanta is amazing.

Really comfort and happy trip!

House is really clean, tv has Netflix/amazon prime, the vision is so beautiful, the location is quiet, soft mattress, the most important:owner of the hotel is really friendly! He asked if we need pick up two days before we arriving. After we arrived, he pick us up and show us the old Main Street and introduce it to us friendly. We ask the recommendation of seafood and breakfast, the restaurants he recommended are all great and fair prices. And the hotel provide the motorbikes to rent, easy to ride and helps a lot!

Super établissement, j’ai réservé très tard et le monsieur qui s’occupe à très bien gérer. La réservation m’a accueilli très gentiment. Les appartements sont parfaitement équipés. Il m’a même ramené jusqu’au port gratuitement ! L’appartement est bien situé ! Je recommande 😊

Bardzo czysto, dobra lokalizacja, spokojna, 10 min spacerem do miasta. Codziennie rano pyszne śniadanie o wybranej godzinie (pomiędzy 7 a 10). Gospodarz przygotował dużo wody w butelkach w lodówce. Odebrał nas z przystani. Wszystko było idealne, za tę cenę to prawdziwa perełka! Dodatkowo jest możliwość wynajęcia skutera w dobrej cenie.

Il titolare della struttura è super accogliente e disponibile. Non solo ci è venuto a prendere al porto ma poi ci ha anche accompagnato all'hotel su cui abbiamo dovuto spostarci nei giorni successivi. Ha anche alcuni motorini da affittare per chi lo richiedesse. Avremmo voluto prolungare il nostro soggiorno ma purtroppo era al completo le notti successive. Anche se breve è stato davvero tutto perfetto! Pulizia ottima che non è mai scontata. Lo consiglio a tutti coloro che siano alla ricerca di una location riservata, ma allo stesso tempo facilmente raggiungibile con un motorino. Grazie di cuore, speriamo di rivederci presto 😊

Séjour et hôte exceptionnels

Nous avons adoré l’arrivée en pleine nature, la situation géographique (à quelques minutes du night market et des plages), l’hébergement (très spacieux 30 m2 avec un espace cuisine, très propre et bien aménagé), la possibilité de louer un scooter neuf (400 la journée), les petits déjeuners servis sur la terrasse avec le lever du soleil et notre fantastique hôte Ake au petit soin, de bons conseils avec toujours le sourire. Nous recommandons fortement cette adresse

Un séjour inoubliable

L’emplacement proche de tout et dépaysant à souhait, le lieu est entouré de verdure et nous avons pu profiter de la nature . Le logement est très bien équipé et très propre. Le petit déjeuner vous est apporté à votre logement et était très bon. Nous souhaitons principalement souligner l’extrême gentillesse du propriétaire qui a tout fait pour rendre notre séjour agréable ! Il est disponible , très serviable et nous a donné de bon conseils pour visiter l’île. Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil nous n’oublierons jamais notre passage sur Koh Lanta .

Venez ici, c'est incroyable !

Notre hôte, Ake, a été extraordinaire ! Il est venu nous chercher au port avec une petite pancarte, au moment de partir il a contacté l'agence de bus qui venait nous chercher pour nous aider. Il est au petit soin, le petit-déjeuner est délicieux, la chambre était incroyable avec une vue magnifique. Rien à redire, ne loupez surtout pas ce logement !
