    We stayed here last year. I travel Thailand as a single parent with my two children each summer and every year my daughter celebrates her birthday. We never know where we might be when her birthday lands and last yeah we happened to be here. The family who own this resort went out of their way to help celebrate her. They bought her a cake and showed up to our door with their own children and it was such a wholesome moment. It’s a small intimate resort and they are so helpful to would 100% return. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

    There were 9 bungalows with rooftop terraces arranged around a pool - very picturesque and private. The bungalow was spacious, comfortable and clean. The rooftop terrace was definitely a bonus affording great views of the Andaman Sea. The AC was okay - could have been stronger for us and the pool was beautiful but a bit on the warm side. Still slightly refreshing. It is very hot in March and the sun is stronger than I e ever experienced. The staff is friendly and readily respond to requests. Great place to stay if you have your own transportation - motorbike/scooter - not as easy if you have to rely on tuk-tuk or songataews. It is an uphill climb back from the beach, but doable in that it’s only about a 10 minute walk. I wouldn’t really say this is a good place for children in that most of the pool is about 5 feet deep. Probably best for couples. There is a 7-11 and another grocery at the bottom of the hill and many great restaurants nearby, especially the Jai Tiki Bar and Restaurant (adults only).

    We rented two villas for three nights at Chalaroste Lanta and were very happy with our choice. It's a short walk from the beach (about 5 minutes), but in a call environment which is perfect for families with kids. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool was a great hit and it was nice to have a swim at the end of the day. Every villa has a rooftop with views of the sea and lovely sunsets to watch in the evenings. If you want to rent scooter to explore the island they have them fra reasonable price. My only gripe is the breakfast. It's decent, but for the price there could be a bit more choice. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel especially for families travelling with children.

    The track up to the hotel is steep and rough and tuk tuks wont use it so if you don't have a moped or gave luggage you need a taxi. The road up to the hotel has lots of bags of rubbish behind the properties. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our bungalow, 101 had no privacy. The roof terraces all look onto each other and the bungalows are close together. 5 of the 9 bungalows had families in them even though each is supposed to only double room. This spoiled our holiday as we got no peace and quiet when we were trying to relax at the end and start of the day. We presumed it would be adults only, thats our fault for not checking. This hotel could be a gem if it was adult only. We had to go on the roof to get a sunbed as there were not enough round the pool due to more than 2 in 5 of the bungalows. We did enjoy our stay as we hired a moped from the hotel so we didnt have a problem getting into town or back at night. Take ear plugs for a sleep in and the dogs next door through the night.
