A really lovely comfortable cottage that I would definitely book again.

A very comfortable cottage in a lovely location on a small holding with pigs, chickens and geese and a small lake, but with easy access to the main road and Gloucester. Very peaceful. The owners were very welcoming.

My only issue was that I was in a lot during the day as I was working remotely and as the heating was on timer, it did get a little chilly (but it was lovely and warm when the heating was on and most guests would be out in the daytime). Also there was a bath but I couldn’t get the water hot enough so just used the power shower.

Peaceful garden to wander in. Entertaining bantams. Delicious lemon cake and fresh eggs. Friendly hostess and dog.

Smoke from a bonfire near the cottage one evening. Difficulty finding nice places to eat on week nights.

Very comfortable stay

Friendly and helpful host. Lovely Welcome Pack which was much appreciated and included a delicious cake. Cottage was warm and comfortable even in the very cold temperatures we had whilst there. Great location - we loved the local countryside with beautiful walks.

Very enjoyable stay, comfortable and suited us being in the countryside.

Lovely 2 bedroom house attached to owners property siutated on their farm. Very helpful and accommodating owners, property situated within reasonable distance from the town of Gloucester and within reasy reach of Ross on Wye and visiting around the Forst of Dean. The house has fully equiped kitchen, very comfortable lounge and downstair bedroom with walk in shower. Situated in lovely countryside. Parking immediately outside the property.

Exceptional - Great Hosts, Cosy Cottage and Abundant Wildlife

We couldn’t fault our stay at Berry’s Place Farm Annexe - Anne and Gary were very welcoming even going to the trouble to leave a welcome card, home made cake (which was the best lemon drizzle we have ever had), Milk and Bread. The cottage is very well equipped with everything we needed and was spotless. The bed was very comfortable and the whole cottage was warm and spacious. As we drove in one evening a barn own swooped down over our car which was amazing to see, there were also pheasants walking about and lots of wild birds – Anne feeds the birds each day which attracts lots of great wildlife. We were free to walk around the farm and lake, - during our stay the farm had 4 Sheep, 2 Geese and Chickens which our 3-year-old loved. The location is also great – only 10 mins into Gloucester for shops and restaurants, with great views and walks nearby. Forest of Dean, the Cotswolds and Malvern Hills are also a short drive. We would love to stay here again.

It's hard to think of anything negative - but if I had to pick something the Wi-Fi signal is a little weak inside the cottage but mobile reception is good anyway with 4G coverage

A very warm welcome from the hosts. 10-15 mins from Gloucester quays. Great location and peaceful in the day and night. House was very spacious and warm for those chilly evenings. Access to a lovely rear garden and facilities. 10/10 rating.

Everything was perfect. Outstanding value

Anne was a fantastic host, left us fresh bread, milk and eggs (freshly laid from the chickens on site) with a gorgeous lemon drizzle cake (homemade). Pub round the corner was close and great. Absolutely fantastic stay. Can't emphasise how impressed I was.
