Our stay was very peaceful and quiet, very near to the main Dartmouth centre.

Cottage was exceptionally clean and well provided for. Lovely king size bed, and upstairs shower room was excellent. Kitchen facilities were to a very high standard, and overall the cottage was a credit to its owners.

My wife who is partially disabled found the steps up to the property a little demanding, but managed them with a little care.

Lovely little Cottage

The location, down a quiet street but only 5 minute walk to the town. You aren't in the hustle and bustle but also not far for a walk to the pub or eatery. A Co-op just down the end of the road is handy. There are also some lovely walks to go on in the area. The cottage was cosy and the decor was simple but felt homely. It was also clean and tidy and smelt fresh when you walked in. I like that there was a washer and dryer if needed. The kitchen was very well equipped and we would have been able to cook a lovely meal had we not have eaten out every night. All the utensils you'd need are there. A nice selection of books, board games and DVD's for when you feel like a relaxing day or the weather is not favourable. A box of leaflets for places to visit in the area can help you plan your holiday. Free WiFi is available at the cottage also, which is a nice touch. Overall, Armada Cottage was a lovely home from home for the duration of our stay and we would definitely come back again.

The bed was uncomfortable for us. Although we do suffer from back problems so like a very firm bed. The double bed however was very soft and dipped in the middle, I had to use the extra pillow to support my back. I think the cottage needs a name sign at the bottom of the steps as we didn't realise it was the right one until walking up a few stairs to see the door. I couldn't remember the number and wasn't able to reach my phone to check with my hands full; so having a name sign at the bottom would have been handy.

excellent cottage would definitely return

excellent cosy house with comfy beds and all appliances you could want . really close to shops and waterfront and lovely patio if warm enough

nothing really . a pity that there is no recycling . would have been nice to have coffee and milk available after long journey

Lovely place to stay

Clean, comfortable, well equipped, great location for town, parking OK. All good at the property. A lovely town to stay at, even in the winter months as many restaurants and attractions are open all year.

The street is VERY narrow. Directions to the property could be given to arrive via Victoria Road rather than travel along South Ford Road. We suffered damage to new alloy wheels although the body of the car fitted through the 6ft guide. The steep steps leading from road to cottage may be difficult for some people.

Superb

A lovely peaceful property, very well appointed and well situated for our needs. The lack of a host on-site, and thus no catered breakfast, suited us well.

The long list of instructions about handling garbage, sheets etc could not be carried out (for example, no large bags in which to put the sheets). In the end the agency said they were not necessary!

Lovely cottage good price and ideal for a small family to stay in the Dartmouth area.

Location was ok. Cottage was immaculate and perfect for what we needed it for. Very accommodating in giving us an extra night, in the end we didn’t need it and they only charged an extra £30.

The free parking was a fair distance away and if you have issues walking up hills it would t be good for you. Ideal if you want to check in and leave the car for a few days which we did so worked out ideal for us.

Très bon séjour

Le logement était très bien équipé, spacieux, meublé avec goût est très propre. L'emplacement est super et la place de parking gratuite très pratique.

Nous sommes arrivés en dehors des heures d'ouverture de l'agence et nous n'avons reçu les codes de la boîte à clé que une heure avant notre départ en ferry. Nous avons essayé de joindre le numéro prévu pour ce genre de situation à plusieurs reprises sans réponse de leur part. C'est grâce à l'assistance booking que nous avons compris comment procéder. Nous n'avons pas trouvé les lits confortables parce qu'ils étaient très mous.
