Stayed here for 5 nights in late October. Used Salerno as a base for the Amalfi coast and Pompeii. Without a doubt, our host Angelo made this an even more memorable stay! The room has the most magnificient view of the harbour and ocean, good size bathroom and a shared seating/dining area. Very clean and comfortable. The property is about a 25 min walk from the train station and main ferry terminal (Concordia). There is a closer ferry terminal where the cruise ships come in. There are fabulous restaurants and little shops for bread and cheese etc very close by. Great location. Back to Angelo. He provided a lovely breakfast each morning on the balcony and even cooked a delicious meal for us one night. He is a fountain of knowledge on all things Salerno and gave us many excellent recommendations on things to see and places to go. He obviously loves what he does and he made our stay so easy. Highly recommend Casa Sul Mare not only for the amazing views but for the warmth and humour that Angelo injects into your stay!!
Nothing - just be aware that there are quite a few stairs to negotiate on the way down to the main street. Thankfully there is an escalator to get back up!!

Bit of a hike to get there if you are walking. Make sure you take taxi.

Apartment locate on the hill and give good view to the port and sea from the balcony. Host is friendly and helpful. it is convenient to go to Amalfi coast.
The road to the apartment is steep and narrow. Parking is not easy.
One way outdoor escalator some times doesnt work, then you have to climb up the hill by foot.
