Where to even start! The B&B is comprised of only 2 rooms and a large dining room in a beautiful old building with a gorgeous view of the port. The room itself was massive and super clean with a comfy bed, sofa chair, desk chair and plenty of storage. It's such a lovely base to stay in, a home away from home.
From here you can easily walk to the old town which is beautiful and to the bus stop for the Amalfi coast. To get to the ferry station is a little bit further but it's a beautiful walk along the promenade.
Down the street are a handful of little shops that sell meat and ham and all the essentials - great value for money!
Best of all, the host, Vincenzo, really goes out of his way to make sure his guests are comfortable. He very kindly picked me up from the train station and dropped me back off - after offering breakfast at his nearby bar. I don't even have words - he's an absolute legend. :)
In short, this is the perfect place to stay while in Salerno - which incidentally is a beautiful town that deserves a couple of days exploring at least and also serves as an excellent base to see the Amalfi coast or venture elsewhere in the area.

The property is in a fantastic location with a lovely view, and the old town is just a short walk behind. It sits behind a large, secure entrance that’s typical of the area—up a few stairs and through another door, you’ll find the property itself. Inside, there are two rooms and a shared space, and truly, everything you could possibly need has been thought of, including great air con.
We originally chose Salerno as a base to explore the area, but it quickly became a place that stole our hearts as the people are so friendly and passionate about their city.
The owner is absolutely wonderful—he picked us up from the station, kindly offered us a lift the next day, and even invited us to his beautiful restaurant for breakfast. He really is a diamond, and his hospitality made our stay extra special.
The only downside for me was the noise. As it’s a city, some noise is to be expected, but more effective glazing could make a difference. I used earplugs, which helped, but I mention it as some people are particularly sensitive to noise.

La vista al mar, la cama cómoda y la atención de Enzo. Excepcionalmente, Enzo me recogió en la estación de trenes, como viajaba sola me pareció poco común, pero al conocerlo comprendí que él es muy amable y respetuoso, por lo cual me sentí bastante segura. La estadía fue tranquila y el alojamiento estaba equipado con todo lo que necesité para una corta estadía.
