Best ski chalet in Zermatt
Exceptional location for skiing, possibly one of the best on the mountain. We were able to ski directly to the door with no issues whatsoever. You are about 100m from the lift system giving you access to all areas of the mountain. If you are coming to Zermatt to ski, I can't see you getting a better location than this. The owners are very attentive, helpful and happy. I truly can't recommend this enough.

The best of the best
The advantages of this place are a lot, the owner is great, the owner's son is great! The restaurant they run is great. But the most important thing for skiers, if you want to ski first, sleep with them!!! Everyone who loves snow already knows this password!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Before all the people come from Zermatt, you will be alone at the top!!! You will feel it if you stay with them!!!

Away from the city and waking up to a view of the Matterhorn
The apartment is located far away from the city and located in a valley, surrounded by snowy mountains. It was fantastic to wake up to a view of the Matterhorn. The Furi cable-car station is just a short walk away, thus easy to move around. Lots of snow and open space around, so the family and I had a great time playing in the snow. The host was very helpful and had provided lots of advise and tips, both prior and during our stay.
The cost of the taxi from/to Zermatt is quite steep - the host provided an estimate up-front, so it was not a surprise. You can try taking the cable car instead if you don't have much luggage.
