Chalet Alpoase was a very nice home in Winkelmatten right near the playground, chapel, Son Matten and the Kapelle Winkelmatten e bus stop. It is 3 floors with the main living space at the top (kitchen/dining/sitting), a small bathroom and bedroom on the main entry floor and then larger bathroom/bedroom and laundry on the basement floor. The kitchen was well equipped with fondue, pots/pans and a few spices, coffee and things. We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.
It is quite a trek uphill from the gondola so we decided to rent ski lockers for our time there. It is also a bit further feeling from town than we had originally thought. The e bus makes it easier but just something to consider. Overall a good stay in Zermatt!

We had such a great stay here. The house is really cute and clean. It has a great view of the Matterhorn from the kitchen / top floor and the location is a short (although hilly) walk from the gondola. Having 2 bathrooms and a working laundry room was a massive plus for our family of 4 on a ski trip.
The kitchen / dining area is a bit on the small side but really wasn’t an issue as we mostly at out for dinner and had lunch on the slopes.

Das Häuschen ist gut ausgestattet und liegt gut!
Super ist auch, dass jedes Schlafzimmer ein eigenes Badezimmer hat.
Nichts auszusetzen!

It is only 50 meters from the red bus stop, a convenient location. However, please note that this Chalet is the last stop of the red bus, which means it is at the far end of the town.
The rooms are smaller than the pictures, and particularly the kitchen and common area are small. There is no microwave, and not enough supply of salt, sugar, or coffee capsule.
