"Oh dang it!"

I loved the location of this place as it was very close to my son's house. The bungalow was neat, a cool old space. Was unique in design

I did not like that the checkout had to be at 10am and when I mentioned that I had naturals expected a standard time, 11am, I was simply told NO. That made it harder for us on our trip. The grill was said to work great and have plenty of gas, only, it had a large wasp next inside the grill. I told him about the nest, all I got back was a rather smug text, " Oh, dang it!" Since the owners were living in the house connected to our air BNB, it seemed rather disappointing that there was no attempt to help resolve the issue. There was no apology or even the idea that they cared. Since we had planned that dinner around the ability to grill our steaks, having to stop go buy a charcoal grill, charcoal, lighter fluid and take 5x as long to grill our 6 steaks on the much smaller charcoal grill we had to buy; THIS WAS A DEAL BREAKER FOR OUR TRIP!! It honestly ruined our plans and we drove from Denver with two young children to get here for this dinner. Any sort of an attempt to apologize or remedy the situation, would have gone a long way here!!!... The fact that it was an older place that smelled like mold and mildew and that we had to smash several spiders of all sizes, from the dusty/musty and not so clean linens; well, it was just not a good experience at all. I would not and will not recommend this place to anyone nor will I ever work with these owners again. In fact, I would probably help someone steer of this place altogether. I'm polite, clean and my family and I are and were good tenants. We should not have to pick up the slack for the seemingly lazy, unconcerned and rude property owners.

A perfect cozy stop from which to explore vineyards and the surrounding Palisade area

The coziness of the home and the outside space was fab. The LP player and vinyls were great and the whole place had a fun vibe. Close to vineyards and the beautiful Colorado National Monument. We also drove to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. A great stop for us on our road trip.

It was a very comfortable place at a great location, it made it easy to move around. The place was super cozy, it had everything we needed!

Some places where a bit dusty, nothing to bad but we did notice it. Other then that it was amazing!!

Wish I could have stayed during the warm weather months.

The sofa, being a sofa bed, was not comfortable to sit on. The bar stools were also not very comfortable. If my stay would have been in late spring, summer, or earlier fall, none of that would have mattered because I would have been eating and spending most of my time on the lovely covered patio in the comfortable patio chairs. I would rate the Bee's Knees excellent for a warm weather stay.

Great value, quiet property and so much nicer than staying in a hotel!

We had a great time at Bees Knees Bungalow! The decor was beautiful and homey, and the outdoor space was a great bonus. The kitchen area was well appointed for cooking there, and the bed was super comfy. Definitely will be back next time we are out west!

This property is a find. Quant and eclectic. EXTREMELY CLEAN. The price couldn’t be beat. Relaxing and homey. Perfect base camp for a visit to the Grand Junction area

The bungalow was a bright and cheery place to stay with fun decor and a great layout, and less than 1/2 hour drive to the airport and Colorado National Monument, and just 5 to 15 minutes dive away from numerous peach and apple orchards, wineries, an alpaca farm, biking trails and hiking trails, downtown Palisade and downtown Grand Junction. Amazingly lots to do close by.

It’s located a few yards from a semi-busy road, so there is some occasional traffic noise at night, but not enough to spoil your sleep.

Excellent stay

We really enjoyed our time at the BeesKnees. Everything was well thought out and the bungalow was very comfortable. Our host was there to help when needed and very welcoming. The property is clean and great for dogs.
