Alone Cage Ella

Breakfast is Top Notch! It tastes amazing, is freshly made and served at your prefered time. Location is great. Easy to walk towards city center, nine arches bridge and little adams peak. Scooter rental from host is also possible for a good price. Scooters are well maintained. Appartment itself is very nice and comfy. Everything is super clean. The apartment has a high end AC and a fridge to keep drinks cold. We can highly recommend staying here when visiting Ella!😊

Like in most apartments in SriLanka the shower is just within the bathroom and is not a seperate cabin or divided by a shower curtain. Which makes a bit of a watery mess when showering. Nevertheless a floormat and a shower squeegee is provided to keep your feet dry when entering the bathroom after someone took a shower.

A little removed from Ella (about a 10 minute walk) was a perfect location for a little downtime. It’s right near some good hikes and a great cooking school at the end of the street. The couple who own it are very nice!

Great location Amazing home cooked breakfast The owners are very friendly and helpful, went above and beyond sorting laundry and tv to watch World Cup and gave great recommendations

This little gem felt like a cozy home away from home. The family who run it are absolute rays of sunshine, truly some of the loveliest people we have met in a country filled with lovely people! You can tell how much love and thought they put into it to make sure guests feel comfortable, they had a vanity with mosquito repellent, a first aid kit a hairdryer and backup light incase the power goes out. The aircon was the best aircon we have had on our trip, the water was nice and warm (which we discovered is not very common). The outdoor area was such a lovely place to relax. They even had a big comfy fluffy blanket rather than only a sheet. It truly was such a wonderful place to stay, it felt so safe and was a quick stroll to all the lovely restaurants and bars. I can’t thank these guys enough for being so accomodating and caring. If we return in the future we would love to stay again. Thank you so much.
