Lovely host. Breakfast was basic but good. Accommodated for vegan needs. 10 minute walk away from the town centre, so it's quiet, but just close enough.
It's a little out of town, up a short steep path from the railway station. Don't get put off by reviews complaining about it, get a tuktuk from the station, it's not far.

Amazing views, wish we’d stayed in Ella longer. Best breakfast we’ve had at a stay in Sri Lanka so far. Helpful staff always smiling!!

The air conditioning was not working properly, the remote was locked, and the water pressure was too low to take a shower.
