The service was amazing!

Clean apartment located in a great part of town, comfy bed. We got a bit of a later check out.

I had to work because we extended our stay in Porto, I had to chase the apartment owner over the course of the 2 days out of our 4 day stay to get an update on the wifi being down, apparently wifi was down in the area or something. I appreciate sometimes these things happen but I felt like the owner was super rude & unapologetic, and I had to continually chase to get updates. He was also arrogant that these apartments always get great reviews & couldn’t believe I would question on his lack of customer service about this issue. Not to mention the 2nd day he just didn’t answer my call and decided to have an argument with me over watsapp. Very strange. We were surprised based on previous reviews! We were offered our money back to leave but by this point we only had 2 nights left and it would have been annoying trying to find other accommodation. When we were out someone came over and fixed the wifi after arguing that afternoon about it. I had a career in hotel management for years - I’d have never spoken to guests the way I was via watsapp. On that basis i’d never stay with these apartments again. To be honest the whole experience made writing this review hard to share anything that positive because it annoyed me so much that I was spoken to the way I was - completely tainted the stay! Also the aircon being in the small corridor separated from the bedroom wasn’t good - don’t know why you would have this in this part of the room. The bars underneath the apartment can be really really noisy at times - soundproofing was fine on some nights and others it wasn’t.
