About this house rental
Please note, from Memorial Day through Labor Day, we only accept rentals that start and end on Saturdays; we also require that your minimum stay is one week. After Labor Day, we are more flexible with start and end dates as long as their is a 5 night minimum stay.
This beautiful 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is the perfect mix of classic Cape Cod architecture and charm with modern comforts and amenities. This property is in an ideal location for all of the great activities the Cape has to offer. Walk to the end of our road for easy access to the Bike Path. First Encounter Beach is just 1.5 miles from our driveway and Great Pond is about 2 miles away, a quick bike or car ride. Great Pond (Wiley) is a beautiful freshwater pond with a designated swimming area, perfect for families.
Our location in the town of Eastham is very central to the many activities the Outer Cape has to offer: Provincetown is a 30 minute drive and the town of Wellfleet is just 10 minutes away. Watch a movie at the Wellfleet Drive In or shop around at the Wellfleet Flea Market; go on a whale watch out of Ptown or just go for the day to walk around; take a beautiful scenic drive to Chatham for quaint shops; or enjoy fine dining in many of the downtown Orleans restaurants only 5 minutes away. Eastham itself has its own charm, with three National Seashore Beaches within a 5-10 minute drive. The National Seashore Beaches are also accessible via the bike path from the house.
Our home is situated on a corner lot with the driveway on a private, dead end road. The backyard is quite expansive with area to set up for horseshoes. There is also an outdoor shower (not enclosed, but perfect for rinsing off after the beach) and sizable deck with seating for 10 to enjoy the fresh ocean air and listen to the birds singing. The house has just under 1400 sq ft of living space. The downstairs features a modest sized kitchen which is open to the family room. Kitchen table is set up for 6 but can accommodate 8. The main level includes a full bath and two bedrooms (king size and queen size). Upstairs has another full bath and two more bedrooms. Some of the appliances are original to the home but are in great condition, giving the kitchen a retro feel, however we have added a new dishwasher in the kitchen and a new washer and dryer in the basement. Parking will accommodate 3-4 vehicles.
Please note, we do not provide sheets or towels, as we cannot accommodate laundry between guests. There are places nearby that rent linens or you can purchase them for a minimal cost at the local TJ Max.

The house was in a great location which is why i chose it. The owners responsive and available. However the property needs some TLC, there is no updating and the AC in the living room accommodates the 2 downstairs bedrooms, which means doors to the rooms need to be left open.

Good location, cute little house.Kitchen cramped, it was hard to open the refrigerator because of the seating arrangement. Insuficient lighting in the kitchen. Couldn’t use the grill, flavorizer bars missing. Air conditioning in the first floor bedrooms needed. Fan wasn’t sufficient.For this price, it would be nice to have linens. It took us more than an hour to do that after a long drive.Beds were very comfortable though.Aimee was prompt with all the responses.
