Short stay on Cape for two kids, mom, and grandmom. We all had great fun. House is cozy and conveniently close to hike/bike trails both paved and dirt; only about 4 miles to Marconi Beach National Park. We were there just before Hurricane Erin so surf was very dramatic. On different days we went north to Wellfleet and south to Brewster for inner cape beaches for the quiet water, safe swimming and beach time. We had not brought beach toys (my daughter was on business) and we were all very grateful to find beach chairs, buckets, toys, and boogie boards ready and waiting in the garage. We also enjoyed the corn hole game we found in the shed, and Twister for the kids along with other inside games. Lots of restaurants nearby, we had terrific sushi takeout from Mac's Shack in Wellfleet and wonderful seafood at Bookstore&Restaurant also in Wellfleet. Kitchen is modern, well equipped, seating for meals both inside and outside. Comfortable beds, kids loved the bunk beds. Kids also loved seeing bunnies in the yard and on neighborhood walks. The house was just right for us.
