Bring the whole family to this spacious colonial style home just steps from the fresh water Herring Pond.
Enter the first floor to find an over-sized family room, kitchen with breakfast nook, separate dining room, living room, half bath, guest bedroom with full (double) bed and full bathroom with combination tub-shower, and another bedroom with three twin beds and a crib, and finally, a separate laundry room.
The second floor provides four additional bedrooms and an additional full bathroom with a combination tub-shower. The first bedroom offers one twin bed, the second bedroom offers one twin bed, the third bedroom has a queen bed and the forth bedroom has three twin beds.
The house is set on a corner lot surrounded by plenty of large trees offering an abundance of privacy. There is a nice attached deck in the back yard to enjoy meals or gatherings outdoors.
The house is located by a popular fresh water pond, but the house is also only under a mile from Eastham's largest bay beaches, First Encounter Beach. And the Rail Trail Bike Path is only one half mile away via Crosby Village Road, and if you prefer the Atlantic ocean you will find Coast Guard Beach just 3.4 miles away. The Eastham Library and Windmill Green and Bandstand is less than 1.5 miles away. Orleans center is approximately 3.5 miles away and Wellfleet Cinemas, Drive-In, and Wellfleet Audubon are less than 5 miles away.

The location of the house can’t be beat! We loved the proximity to the fresh water pond and to First Encounter Beach. The house is clean, well kept and worked out perfectly for our large group. The description of the house needs to be updated though, it says there are 2 bedrooms on the first floor but there was only 1 which was a surprise. They also could use a new microwave- there was no turn plate or handle. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay!

The house seems to be under renovation. Outdoor shower is not anywhere near what people expect, open to street, only cold water etc. First floor bathroom is old, noisy ceiling vent when showering. Mattresses are older. Basement is closed up and smells musty. Have stayed in better rentals for less cost. Location was fine. Easy travel to restaurants, grocery store, beaches.
