Relaxed holiday for large families or you and your friends in the beautiful Palatinate Forest - surrounded by greenery and yet in the immediate vicinity of the cities of Saarbrücken, Kaiserslautern, Zweibrücken, Pirmasens and only a few kilometers from Alsace (France) away. Our holiday home was completely renovated in spring 2014 and is now inaugurated and offers nearly 100 m² of handicapped accessible living and working space. The apartment is modernly furnished with some classic accents and offers enough space for 6 people in two bedrooms, a living / dining / kitchen area and a spacious bathroom on the ground floor and an additional bedroom with separate guest toilet in the basement. The large terrace invites you to barbecue and relax in summer. Of course, a W-Lan connection is available. In the midst of nature, yet central (10 minutes to the motorway A8) Massweiler is located as the entrance to Sickinger height exactly between Pirmasens and Zweibrücken, with about 1 000 inhabitants. The house is located in a quiet side street in a residential area with beautiful family homes. Only a few 100 meters from the house begins a large forest area, which invites you to go for a walk; paved farm roads and newly created trails are ideal for cyclists (rent bikes for free from the landlord) and leads the golf enthusiast directly to the community's own professional golf course in the middle of the Verbandsgemeinde Thaleischweiler-Wallhalben. The soccer field of the local football club as well as the sports center offer football fans a nice point of contact. The playground and the newly lovingly decorated with table tennis, slide and climbing frame schoolyard are also not more than 150 meters from the house. In the center Massweiler you will also find a cozy restaurant with lunch and home-style cuisine, but also a gourmet restaurant, which was awarded a wooden spoon, if you do not even want to cook at home! Bakery and butchers can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes, all the famous food discounters are less than 5 minutes away by car. The interactive museum Dynamikum (Science Center Rhineland-Palatinate) is only a few minutes away by car. Several swimming lakes in the vicinity and of course the two indoor pools in Zweibrücken and Pirmasens invite you to go swimming! If you want to climb: In less than 30 minutes you are in the Pfälzerwergland with countless rocks. The Palatinate Forest is also known for its many castles, some of which are very well preserved.
