About this apartment rental
The lovingly furnished apartment is located on the outskirts of Hornbach, about 150m from the well-known monastery. For example, you can walk to a pharmacy, bakery, hairdresser, post office, doctors, banks and a supermarket https://www.wasgau.de/maerkte/wasgau-frischemarkt-hornbach/. The restaurant Capito www.restaurant-capito.de and the restaurant Auf der Platte provide warm meals.
For the little ones there is a large playground nearby, the World of Fun (mini golf, bowling, indoor playground), Ice Arena, water playground and the indoor pool.
If you would like to go for a walk, there are the Paradise Garden Path, Pirminius Path and, last but not least, the well-known Way of St. James. Further information can also be found here www.vgzwland.de
If you like cycling, there are the Mühlen Cycle Path and the Hornbach-Fleckenstein Cycle Path, among others.
Within approx. 10 minutes by car you can reach The Style Outlet, Camp 4 (a climbing and bouldering hall) for young and old as well as the rose garden.
Worth seeing but a little further away:
Altdahn Castle is east of Dahn. There is a parking lot below the castle. The triple castle of Altdahn, Grafendahn and Tanstein is the largest castle complex in the Palatinate
Trifels Castle near Annweiler. In the High Middle Ages, Trifels Castle protected the Reichsland around Annweiler. In the 12th and 13th centuries, the German emperors and kings had their imperial jewels kept here. Since their possession made imperial rule lawful, it was said in the Middle Ages: "He who has the Trifels has the empire."
The Teufelstisch in Hinterweidenthal. The child-friendly and barrier-free adventure park is located directly on the legendary sandstone rock "Teufelstisch". In addition to geological information on the special features of the geotope, there are attractions such as a sea of rocks with a rock slide, several sensory paths and themed playgrounds as well as other play areas integrated into nature.
