Great!

Great location especially if arriving via train to Gare de Lyon only two metro stops, it is two minutes from the metro S. Paul. The building is charming and the staff is kind, my go to option when in Paris.

The rooms are quite basic The toilet dosn't come with hand soap which is inconvenient

Staff not friendly. The room bed is given but eventually end up just sleep whichever bed is vacant! That is the answer. Shower inside room - pooping toilet OUTSIDE hall

Excellent location and beautiful place

This is a great hostel in one of the best neighbourhoods in Paris. It is clean and well-organized. The staff is informative and very kind. Thank you very much for providing an affordable and beautiful accommodation option for those who loves to visit Paris.

Location is great, rooms and facilities so-so

Location is good

Smell in the room was of the outdated furniture. Shower with no regulation of the water temperature No standard electrical sockets near the beds and no lockers in the room Very poor breakfasts, no vegetables or fruits at all. Wi-Fi was properly working only at the lobby.

Would return for the location but not the best hostel I’ve ever used

Fantastic location. Smaller dorms split into genders is nice and feels safe. Nice to have breakfast included even if it is basic, was appreciated. Good temperature. Charming and lots of character.

No secure lockers in rooms to store belongings. Shower and sink in room is a little odd with no toilet. Only one socket in rooms shared between 3-4 people does not suffice.

Clean, modest and affordable accommodation in one of the best neighbourhoods in Paris

The staff is very helpful and kind. They all speak in English. The location is very good. Lots of cafes and a supermarket nearby. The rooms are very quiet and clean. Thank you for offering a clean, affordable and peaceful accommodation option in Paris.

There was no information at the reservation page about the obligation of moving among the 3 different buildings, which are indeed very close to one another, but stil... I stayed 4 days in the same building/room but it could be kind and also ethical to share information in advance and give the opportunity to those who would make their decision for reservation (especially without cancellation). No lockers and soap in the rooms!

Do not book here - impossible to sleep

great location, short walk to metro st paul.

Horrible - only book here if you are a family in one room. Impossible to sleep due to the layout and noise (metal hangers!!), loft design with skylights wake you at 6am, in shared rooms ppl coming in 2/3am leaving at 4/5am - no privacy- leaving lights on, shower and door next to my bed. No hot water, shower cuts off, no heat on in October. Stairs make noise to the upper loft. The association should make changes and only offer private rooms due to historic bldg layouts.

Flying visit, perfect location, hope to be back!

Was travelling for a work event in the arts, perfect location, lovely building, good facilities, comfortable and helpful staff plus got to chat to lots of great like minded travellers of different nationalities.

The internet did not work on my phone unfortunately (must have been issue with carrier) and while had some coverage through hostel wasn’t great so had problems checking in online for return trip and got charged at airport! Going to take up with Ryanair!

We did have a great time with my family. Hotel receptioninst very polite, friendly and always available to assist us.

Nice and beautiful hotel. We love it. It is pretty close to public transportation. The hotel is located in an nice neighborhood and quite area by the river. We do have close stores, restaurants. We fell in love with the hotel, area and Paris.

I liked the location, and the building itself was beautiful. It was clean, and the room was comfortable enough and very simple.

Every staff member I spoke to were rude, unpleasant and spoke to me like I was some sort of child. I had two issues with my key card not working, and both times they made out like I was trying the wrong room, I was also on the top floor so had to come down twice. My locker was also jammed and they were rude about having to open it for me. If I was paying 10Euro a night I would understand lack of professionalism, but it is not a cheap hostel. If their staff were trained in customer service and to acknowledge that guests pay their wage, maybe they would be more pleasant.

Beautiful building, fantastic area. Lack of sleep meant I would not share a dorm again

Breakfast was awful - in 5 days I tried it once

We didn't have a door on our room or a blind on our window. As we were on a corridor is was very loud when other people came in. This I think was the only room without curtains. Its a beautiful venue but as its old and echoe, don't bank on good sleep. However I would consider renting a room as I think this could be better and the location was amazing.

Nice spot in Paris

Amazingly situated hostel. We had a triple room for a family, and it was located in a great space, with stairs and place beneath. It looked way better in reality than on the photos! The location is simply awesome, we found also restaurant gems around.

There was no wifi unless connecting at the ground floor. The breakfast, as complimentary, was fine, even though, I guess there could be a possibility to make it slightly better/fresher/French.

We Love Green festival - MIJE as my overnight stay

Excellent location of this hostel in le Marais, close to the Saint Paul metro stop. As advertised, the hostel is in an old building, which has its charm but also its drawbacks: hardly any power sockets, shared en-suite shower, bathrooms in the corridor. It was very clean (kudos to the cleaning crowd: excellent jobs!).

I think there are a number of quick wins for this hostel: (1) provide some extension leads to the power socket so that there's no "battle" with other guests; (2) wouldn't it be better to have some door system instead of a curtain to the bathroom (not necessarily for privacy, but more for noise); (3) maybe have a fan available, given that the heat will kick in, soon.

It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I’ve never seen any kind of hotel like that kids screaming beating on the door slamming doors. It was horrible. We did not even spend the night there we left after one hour maybe less

The location is perfect. Close to all bus/metro/grocery store, restaurant all around. Walk to Notre Dame only 13 minutes.

Location is good, information cards are good.

I went to the place I made a reservation from booking and they told me this is not the place you made a reservation. However, I was sure I went to the right address before going. When I first arrived at the hotel, they told me that we have 3 different hotels in this area and yours is 5 minutes walking distance and it is advertised as somewhere else and directed me to their other branch. The room I stayed in was definitely not the one I made a reservation for. The rooms are very old, stuffy, windows do not open, there are no heating and cooling facilities, there is no closet in the room to put things, there is a shower and sink in the room but the shower is very small and poorly maintained, there is no soap, shampoo or towels. If you want a towel, you have to pay 6 Euros. The toilet is outside the room and is dirty, there are only 2 sockets in the room for 4 people. One is at the entrance and the other is in the bathroom. There is no socket next to the bed to charge the phone, the breakfast is very poor.Wifi connection is only available on the ground floor.There are no facilities for travelers. It needs to be improved.

Marais is the best area in Paris and this hostel is the perfect way to experience it.

Good stay in the Marais!

Was a clean and big room in a great location in Paris!

Charging port next to bed didn’t work nor did multiple charging ports in the common area. Wifi stopped working the second day I was their which was not great 😭

Fantastic location, no internet in rooms, shared restrooms.

You can't beat the location! It's located right in the very heart of Paris, and within a walking distance from all the famous sights.

It's a youth hostel, so you'll hear groups of children in the morning and in the evening. Also, I booked a private room - but even the private room did not have a toilet, just a shower. If you're used to getting up at night to use the restroom, keep in mind that you'll be walking in the public hallway to use a shared restroom. Worst of all, there is no internet in the rooms.
