Great location, spacious and all amenities provided. The owners were very attentive and helpful and we enjoyed waking up to the amazing view of Table Mountain each morning.
The patio doors were a bit tricky to close and could leave a big open gap if not shut carefully. I only mention this as it meant that one night it was left open mistakenly and mosquitoes came in. No hand soap was provided which we definitely did not appreciate after travelling for 20 hours.

The Docklands apartment building on Prestwich street is a great location to base yourself at whether for holiday or for work. The ITC Hospitality apartments within the shared apartment block are immaculate and well maintained. 24/7 security desk at at the front as well as security in the car park. Access to floors via stairs or lift use face or fingerprint recognition which is captured at check-in. This two bed apartment offered a double sized balcony looking out to the city and Table Mountain. Apartments have effective air conditioning. The roof offers a maintained communal pool, sundeck and shaded braai cooking space. A Vida Coffee Shop is on the ground floor. You can walk to the Waterfront within 18 minutes. Traffic Police Station is nearby and Waterfront Security patrol the underpass you walk under towards the canal walk to the waterfront. I have stayed at The Docklands 4 times over the last several years. When booking, if you want a Table Mountain view, then just make sure the room type you are booking states it has a Mountain View, otherwise you will be on the otherside of the building looking towards the rugby stadium. Cape Quarter Retail (Spar, Clicks etc) is about a 10 min walk from the apartment, there are bars and restaurants close by.
The guest registration process. They collect lots of data from you including capturing your passport, drivers licence and fingerprint. The security system can be problematic with the face or fingerprint readers not always working. Security are there to respond to any issues, but I just feel they are taking too much personal data and I don't know how they are storing it, how long for and how secure it is. I also didn't like that our access to the lifts, car parks and stairs was revoked from 00:01 on the day of departure, meaning if you are out late the night before and arrive at the hotel in the early hours of your departure then you will need to ask security desk to get you up to your apartment. If you leave the apartment, the lifts won't work for you, so you need to phone the reception desk to ask them to call the lift from the ground floor to let you get down from your level. The security system needs further work. Its over complicated.

Great location, secure property, large kitchen and living area, amazing large balcony with seating and views. Staff were lovely and gave us a tour when we arrived. Excellent value for money and would definitely stay here again on my next visit
In November it was very windy and the balcony doors creaked when shut. Make sure to register your face at reception as the elevator and doors to car park use facial recognition
