THE CIDER HOUSE at the Baconnerie Farm
DESCRIPTION: Detached 7-bedroom gîte, certified by the Gîte de France and furnished for tourism, for 14 people. This very old house built of stone, earth, and wood has been renovated in keeping with its period of construction. The D-Day landing beaches are about 20 km away, and Mont Saint-Michel is 80 km away.
The Cider House: very large living room with a wood-burning stove, large separate kitchen, separate living room with a wood-burning stove, two shower rooms, three toilets, and Wi-Fi.
On the ground floor, the house comprises: entrance hall, fully equipped 20 m² kitchen, large 45 m² living room, separate living room with a sofa and armchairs, TV, DVD player, shower room, and separate toilet.
Upstairs: 5 beautiful bedrooms: two double bedrooms with 140cm beds, two bedrooms with two 90cm beds, and one bedroom with a 90cm bed, plus a shower room with toilet. Under the eaves, two bedrooms, accessed via a miller's staircase, each with two 90cm beds in one and three 90cm beds in the other, and a separate toilet.
Outside: Large wooded garden, garden furniture, and stone barbecue. Attached enclosed play area.
Heating is recommended: wood-burning stove and electric convector heaters, as the cottage is well insulated.
Other Gîtes: On the same 3,300 m² site: 3 other independent gîtes (2 with 5 bedrooms and 1 with 4 bedrooms) and a reception room for up to 50 people. (A total of 44 beds in 21 rooms)
