The kitchen was great, with a very new fridge, microwave, and great coffee brewer (with pods provided!). The dining table was awesome, with 14 seats - plenty of room to spread out!

A beautiful house which served myself and friends perfectly for our needs. If i had to find any complaint it was only theWiFi which was a little inconsistant but as we used the property as a base to explore the history and culture of the area it didn't interfere much.If visiting D-Day sites as a group I can highly recommend it.

The property manager was nice but it was challenging to communicate - Google translate helped a bit. The bedding and towels were extra and when I asked where the extra toilet paper was kept, I was told to go buy some when the store opened the next day! There were no basics in the kitchen either - sugar, oil, etc. the house itself is comfortable and well kept but echoes with hard floors throughout. The drive is on a curve where people come around quickly. We were almost sideswiped pulling onto the road.

We have just come back from a stay here as a group of 13. This is a great house in a great location. Close to Omaha beach and Bayeux, and within easy reach of the other D-Day beaches and beyond. We were 7 adults and 6 children (aged 3 - 17). The bedrooms were large and spacious, as was the kitchen/dining area. There was also a large garden with swings and a slide to keep the kids entertained! The only downside was that there was only one WC upstairs between 11 of us, although there were another 2 toilets downstairs so not a big issue. The bathrooms, WCs, Kitchen and bedrooms were nice and clean, although some areas of the house could have a bit more attention to detail (for example there were dead flies on the window sill in the dining room) and the crockery, utensils and towels were a bit tired. However, we were overall happy with everything. This is a great house and is reasonably priced, and I would recommend to anybody, and would consider staying here again.

The property is superb. My friends and I, 5 of us on motorcycles, had a wonderful stay. Important for us was the secure parking round the back of the property out of site of the main road. The location was perfect for our needs with most of the D-Day sites we wished to visit within easy distance. The property itself is light and airy, the rooms comfortable and spacious with communal spaces if required. Very well maintained. None of us had any complaints. Recommended.

Lovely big property just outside the village. The house is very spacious and had everything we needed. Safe securely fenced garden for the children to play out with no worries. We enjoyed local walks and trips to the local sights.

A lovely house that catered well for our family of 12 ranging from 6-62. The spacious garden and ping pong table kept the children well entertained, the bbq was a hit and the sleeping arrangements were perfect. Lovely decor throughout the house - almost wish the weather wasn’t great just to use the fire - and a well equipped kitchen. Perfect location for the Bayeux Tapestry and the D-Day landings giving us plenty of opportunity to explore and learn. Would be more than happy to stay there again in the future. The host was great to communicate with and the option of the end of stay clean helped to take some pressure of us at the end.

While this property was lovely in space and size, including outdoor area, and it was very central to Normandy beaches and all D-day museums & cemeteries, but my problem was the listing on this property was not upfront. Additional fees for linens and towels as well as an incorrect price on VRBO from the beginning made it significantly more than I was hoping for. We had a great time, and the house suited us well. There also was very little stocked in the house in terms of oil, coffee, tea, spices, salt/pepper, toilet paper, laundry soup, hand soap, etc. These things provided, as well as accurate all-inclusive pricing, would have made this a 5 star experience. Owner does not communicate in English, but we muddled through and did email through Google translate. I can't fault her for that but it is good to know in advance.

We travelled as a group of 3 families, six adults and seven children and really enjoyed our stay. The house is very well equipped, the owner is extremely friendly and we genuinely enjoyed the surrounding countryside.

This is a great house. It is big and roomy and well equipped. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The garden was fantastic with BBQ table tennis and large seating area. The kids all loved the large grass garden and play frame. The location was great - beatiful bayeaux and some great beaches very close by and all the historical sites from d-day.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house owner Beatrice was very kind. The house is big, very clean. The backyard is fantastic. You can play table tennis, boule....It's only 10 min to Omaha Beach a very beautiful place. The house is located in a small beautiful French village. 2 km away is another little village with restaurants, bars, grocery stores, a small cinema, bakeries and a butcher. Un grand.sejour avec tres grande table et cuisine ouverte ... tout le materiel nécessaire pour cuisiner sauf un bon.couteau de cuisne ...lave vaisselle four encastrable et micro onde .... 2 cafetieres ...machine a laver et machine a secher le linge....fer a repasser .. seche cheveux (attention au dépassement de kw/h payant ....) nois étions que 7 personnes sans aucune utilisation de chauffage et on a failli dépasser le cotat de kw /h..) .. concue pour 14 personnes. 5 chambrées plutot concue pour 5 couples avec un bel extérieur avec chaises et tables a volonté ... jeux d'enfants et terrain de pétanque....belle pelouse Des fenêtres en pvc neuves et maison rénovée de neuf. C'était parfait pour nous.

Nous avons passé un week end dans le la maison de Béatrice en grande groupe d'amis. Premier contacte et l’échange sur nos attentes et besoins simplement : parfait. Béatrice est accueillante , arrangeante pour les horaires, l'échange vraiment agréable. Quant à la maison , elle est superbe.Très propre ( pas le cas de touts les locations), grande salle à mangé, salon avec cheminé accueillant... Les chambres spacieuses , 3 sdb bien appréciées ( pas d'attente pour la douche;-)). Je pense que par beau temps, il est agréable de profiter de jardin avec terrasse derrière la maison. Je recommande vivement !
