Il Pozzeto was absolutely amazing. Carine & Mario are great and super kind hosts and made sure that we had everything that we needed. The stay was perfect and the house + area are very beautiful and special. Breakfast and dinner are local, fresh and prepared with love. I would love to go back!

Heavenly Experience and Wonderful Hosts!

I have no words for this accommodation!! Without exaggeration, it is one of the most beautiful places to stay in an absolutely stunning area. You feel like you've arrived in heaven. These two people, Carine & Mario, along with their entire team, are so warm and wonderful that you'll want to chat with them from morning till evening. I asked Carine to prepare a surprise for my husband, and she was so attentive to details and so sweet in how she organized everything. The food is divine, the location is superb, and the people are incredibly nice. You couldn't wish for anything more. Even in their guest book, they included the phone numbers for doctors, dentists, etc. It's amazing how they thought of every detail; you lack for nothing. It is very important to follow their given instructions to reach the accommodation. The road is not scary at all; you can both take an SUV or a smaller car. I highly recommend attending the dinners they organize; it's a fairytale atmosphere! They have some dogs and cats, which is a joy! We will definitely be returning next year to stay more than 4 nights. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts; you are people of a perfect 10. Hats off!!

I felt like I was transported to a fairytale world for a few days.

The staff and facilities are incredible at this property. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were met with such warmth and kindness. The room was spacious and comfortable and the grounds offered plenty of space to find a quiet place to sit and read, lounge around, or sit by the pool. They have several animals on the property so being greeted daily by the dogs and cats was a plus. Breakfast and certain dinners are served in the most charming dining room. This place is truly charming and magical.

It is a bit far to get to from Florence but absolutely worth it once you’re there. I wish they had more dinners in the restaurant, but the meals they do offer are delicious.

FANTASTIC STAY WHILE IN TUSCANY!

Property and facilities were amazing, but topped off by the owners' friendliness and kindness. Our family - myself, my husband and our eight months old daughter - felt very welcomed at all of the times. By the way, Mario prepared the best scrambled eggs with Italian spec for breakfast, to go with a wonderfully prepared cappuccino. I still miss our mornings at Il Pozzeto, overlooking the Tuscan hills.

Il Pozzeto is a dream

This was honestly the most beautiful and magnificent place we have ever visited. The view was breathtaking, and the kind service melted our hearts. Especially the way our daughter was cared for and how they made sure she had as much fun as possible. We fell in love with all the cute and super-friendly animals and had so much fun by the pool, playing table football, ping pong, etc. There were plenty of cozy spots where you could enjoy quality time in peace and privacy (for example Bali bed). The high-quality, rustic-style rooms were gorgeous, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had, and we also really enjoyed the Pizza Night and Tuscan Night. Ordering lunch or dinner by the pool was also super relaxing and convenient. We highly recommend this place to everyone—families, couples, anyone—who appreciates beautiful nature, stunning Tuscan views, and the kindest customer service ever. I started looking for flights back to Tuscany just 30 minutes after arriving home. We’re definitely coming back as soon as possible! – Marjaana & family

The nicest place to wake up in Tuscany…

There is nothing not to like. It’s near one the most beautiful villages in Tuscany - Anghiari - on the top of a hill, so when you wake up you see the town in the valley. The road to the location is better done during daylight, but once you get it down it’s not hard. Don’t follow GPS, but the directions they give you. The staff, the breakfast is top notch and if you can, get the Tuscany dinner. You’ll remember it forever. The place is an old franciscan monastery, with all the bells and whistles you could ask for. Everything was great, even though the house rules may seem harsh here and there. One of the best places I have stayed, I would go back tomorrow. Highly recommended.

Wow!!

What a wonderful little slice of heaven!!! The view from every point is breathtaking! Hosts were wonderful and very welcoming. Our room was huge, a two story apartment with fully equipped kitchen and a window overlooking the valley. Dinner is a MUST! It was such an amazing experience, starting with aperitivo by the fire pit, and continued with wonderful food prepared by Mario! It was delicious!! Everything in the place is so well thought of, even little spots to sit and watch the view from. The jacuzzi with the best view was so fun, and being able to connect to speakers for music was a nice touch. Breakfast was also amazing, with such a big variety of food!!! And each morning Mario prepared something a bit different for us to try. We will definitely come back!!

This is as close to heaven as I am going to find on this earth.

The property is absolutely fabulous. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the rooms (inside a restored monastery) are immaculate and well-appointed. Every detail is looked after, from the nice dishes in the kitchenette to the lovely linens on the large and very comfortable bed. Carine and Mario are the perfect hosts, offering incredible dinners and lavish breakfasts. The meals are prepared with such care and Carine and Mario are extremely generous with portions. Il Pozetta is run with love. There is beauty everywhere. The hammock under the olive trees is a wonderful place to relax. The pool is inviting. Carine has created many places to sit and relax, all with breathtaking views of Tuscany. Guests are welcomed like family. I felt very sad leaving as I found heaven here.

Wow i don't know from where to start, this place is absolutely heaven on earth the prettiest place i been so far, gorgeous view and very relaxing, the rooms are great we got upgraded because when we arrived they just open the place for hosting after the winter season and it was only us and anthor couple. It was so fun and quiet there is always option to take wine from them there is a little shop that available always. The hosts were absolutely great and lovely always welcoming and nice with a smile felt like a family. There is a jacoozi, take note its use for extra charge but totally worth it with the best view ever. For couple its - 10 uro And bathroobs - 10 for preson And the lovely pets are around is so sweet and welcoming adding the best picture in the world of the best love i got there, fell in love at once for Betty boop 😊

Exceptional Italian hospitality! We stayed in a very comfortable, well furnished apartment. Breakfasts and dinners were exceptional and really exceeded our expectations. Dinner is available 3 or 4 times per week, depending on how many guests sign up. Il Pozzeto is a very beautiful property, well maintained, and run by people who truly care about creating a memorable experience. A stunning, relaxing, perfect hotel, with attentive and helpful hosts!

We absolutely loved our stay here, what a beautiful place!! What we especially loved was the warmth and kindness of our hosts who were always on hand to help us with any question or request e.g. helping with restaurant bookings, setting up the jacuzzi for us so that is was ready and hot when we came back after a dinner out which was really special, recommending places to eat and visit etc. We also absolutely loved the two evenings that we had dinner at the hotel - the hosts put on a full dinner, in which we were greeted with prosecco, pre-dinner nibbles, amazing main courses, dessert and aperitif afterwards, it was truly amazing having this, and in their gorgeous kitchen and outside al fresco dining area. The views were spectacular, the grounds were all very nicely maintained, the rooms were very comfortable and we particularly enjoyed spending some time watching films in the large communal living room area adjoining our room with the big cosy fireplace. We also really enjoyed that there were pets around with four cats and two dogs, very cute! We won't forget our stay here, it was very special to us as it was for our honeymoon and was incredibly relaxing. Thank you very much for making our stay so nice!

I think the only thing is that we struggled to light the fire in the living area and needed to collect lots of little bits for kindling to get it going (they had supplied a few fire starter blocks though), maybe a supply of kindling material would be useful.

The location is perfect - the facility is tucked away in a beautiful valley with stunning views and surrounded by unspoiled nature. The amenities are top - a large pool and a jacuzzi with the best views of the valley. The rooms are lovely - stylish decorated with all the things you can wish for. The hosts Carine and Mario are super friendly and always there if you need them, literally within seconds.

The road to the facility is narrow and winding and the final section is gravel.

There was nothing we didn’t love, but be prepared for a narrow (rocky at parts) road for the last 20 minutes of the climb up to the gorgeous views awaiting you at the villa!

The location was beautiful with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. At night you have an amazing view of the stars. The property was very nice, it has everything you need. It is owned by Mario and Carine who makes you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Total relax

A perfect place for anyone wishing just to relax, without having to go and search for places to eat (you can do it, of course, but you don't have to) - it's quite isolated, in the middle of gorgeous Tuscan hills and countryside, so the way Carine and Mario have organized everything is just genius. They cook you dinner, they bring you your lunch to the pool, they stock the pool fridge with ice cream and beverages, so if you want you can just stay there and be as lazy as you want. The small details make all the difference!

Il Pozzeto is a very quiet and lovely agriturismo in the Tuscan mountains. Every little detail is perfect here... the view from the rooms and also from the pool is just stunning. But what really stands out are the more than welcoming hosts Carine and Mario. They make you feel at home and the breakfast as well as the dinner were extraordinary. Wunderschönes Anwesen mit extrem herzlichen Gastgebern

Wir hatten einen wirklich wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel :) Hier wird alles mit viel Liebe gemacht. Das außergewöhnliche Frühstück war perfekt. Jeden Tag gab es frische, wechselnde Gebäcke, die einfach köstlich waren & auch herzhafte Speisen mit frischen Dingen aus dem eigenen Garten. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig, mit einem traumhaften Ausblick, sodass man sofort entspannen kann. Man hat einen Blick in die Berge und ins grüne, keine Nachbarn & die totale Ruhe. Alles war makellos sauber, und die Gastfreundschaft war wirklich aussergewöhnlich. Man fühlte sofort wohl, jederzeit willkommen und bestens umsorgt. Ein weiteres Highlight waren die Pizza- und Barbecueabende. Da das Haus etwas abgelegen ist gibt es einen "Delivery Service" von hervorragenden Speisen aufs Zimmer oder an die Poolterrasse zu bestellen. Das Essen ist super lecker & wird frisch von Mario zubereitet :) Ganz besonders gefallen haben uns auch die Honesty Bars: jederzeit konnte man sich Getränke, Snacks & Wein nehmen oder sich selbst Cocktails oder Aperol mixen & sogar Kleinigkeiten wie Shampoo, Haarspray etc. ganz unkompliziert nehmen. Der Jacuzi den man buchen & privat ohne die andren Gäste genießen kann war auch ein Traum. Wir haben uns hier rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Eine absolute Empfehlung für alle :) Die Herzlichkeit von Mario & Carine & allen anderen Mitarbeitern war wirklich aussergewöhnlich & habe ich selten in einem Hotel so erlebt. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl & die Abreise fällt wirklich schwer. Man sollte beachten das es Hunde, Hühner & auch Katzen gibt, falls man keine Tiere mag oder allergisch ist. Alle Tiere sind aber super erzogen & ruhig.
